The scarred body of Brim began to stir inside the dead forest. His fingers very carefully rose first, then both of his arms. With a groan, he forced himself up to his feet.

His eyes opened. His mouth slowly formed a wiry grin.

Brim's mouth let out a laugh, but you can be sure it wasn't Brim who was laughing.
