Its not because they are Apples. Its probably just terrible processors. Then again, school computers are loaded up with more safety features than your friendly Buick lately. I didn't mind the IMacs they had us using in one class.

Our math class uses 2001 iMac's that I used while my teacher went out of the room to go to the bathroom, lol. My library uses the brand spanking new 06 iMac's and they are very very very fast. Maybe they'll go slow after 5 years use, eh?

Well, thar 'artistic' thing fell through a few years back, actually. There isn't anything a Mac's got that a PC doesn't anymore. I don't mean to be a jerk, or anything, but if you check it out, you'll be disappointed. =(

Anyways! Macs apparently have set ups with alot of schoolboards that get the schools discounts, too. At least, that's what I've heard.

Schools get special striped down versions of macs at a cheap price with an extended hardware plan, plus Mac's are considerbaly more stable a secure than PC's which a boon to Schools.

Mac's are like the Porche of the computer world, while PC's are like the Japanese imports.
