I just saw a guy named Alvin Law at the TCU Place in my city. I didn't even know about him untill him a few weeks ago, and wow is he awsome!
Incase you don't know who he is, Alvin Law is a person without arms. In the Early sixties (I thin that's the time, and correct me if i'm wrong) pregnant ladies were put on a pill that reduced their nausia and other symptoms of pregnancy. But whne the child was born, he/she was born with severe birth defects. Missing limbs to be exact. And Alvin Law was born without arms as an effect of the drug.
He is now very well know around the world. He tours and gives motivational speaches to people. And I was so amased at his openess and power. He wasn't boring like I have seen so many other motivational speakers be, but instead very involving. I found myself very, very into it. So he played the piano with his toes, and played the drums with his toes (that was really awsome). But I think that I now have a better understanding for people who have defects or "problems". I'm also motivated like crazy to make a difference and do what I have always wanted to do.
Anyways, to sum things up: If you have the chance I recomend you go and see him. I thought he was great.
You may also know him from some Tele-Mirical shows (he was actually a kid they helped back in the seventies, he played the drums for a group called "Prairie Fire" or something), or maybe from other speaches (he goes all over the world), or maybe from an X-File episode (he was an armless preacher in an episode about circus freaks).
Has anyone else seen him speak?

If I were a creeper I would hide in... your closet. Or under your bed, you know, depending on the weather.
