Ok...so I flushed my toilet only to watch the water slowly rise to the top. I have tried the plunger, which didn't work, then bought some drain cleaner and a snake but each time I flush the water rises to the top again then slowly seeps back down over about 10-30 minutes.

Any ideas? Anyone?

Look inside the tank, over where the handle is, look down towards where the hose comes in and there is like a disky thingy whatever. see if that leaks. if it does, time to get a new disky thingy whatver. Happened to me about 2 weeks ago. whoo boy did that suck. >.<

I don't think thats it...I checked under the hood and everything seems to be working nicely.

Was it like a hole for you or just not sealing anymore?

not sealing. It sucked. I had to turn the water off, but somehow, it just...went away.... =\ either that or my toilet is like...possessed or something. *shrug*
