A lot of it's gonna come down to luck. Like, in Ghetto DA, Reijin kept having very close matches (Violet, Me n' 17, Bujin) and had 3 injuries by the end. But since I only ever ran into him and Frieza, I had no injuries at the final battle. Basically you have to hope like hell you don't run into Rad, Rei or 18, because if that happens you're, well, fucked.
I like the fact that people can't choose their fights. That way it's not a gigantic game of people looking for someone weak enough to kill. I'm really interested to see what some of the very new people can do. This is going to be their first big opportunity to see how far they can go in an all-out contest. And of course, I missed FoF2, so I'm curious to see how far I'll get too. ![]() Bra Wrote:People are dumb, essentially.

I fully expect an excellent performance form the following:
Garlic Jr. Now, the big players aside I'm in agreeance with most of Furiza's, SB's, and GJjr's points. I, too, don't think the 100k Klub have an overwhelming run for the win. It's all down to creativity and a dash of stratagy, which lower levels do just as well on some occasions and on others more. I expecting (hoping?) someong in the lower top 20/30 or roundabouts there to shock everone with some good RPing and take the gold. Sinners make the best Saints

I dunno about you guys, but I pray to God that I don't get a big weapon, like the giant hammer. I'll be physically incapable of using it.
As per who my bet's on - Reijin. He pulled off FoF II nicely, even with his...less than massive amount of posts most of the time. The quality of his RPs is amazing, always keeps me enthralled - one of the reasons I've been a Reijin fanboy since I started here on the RPG. Rad and 18 are obviously expected to do great things as well, being the powerhouses of this competition. The two of them together have a potential that's gonna be hard to match - the rest of us can just hope that they don't get the chance to join up, and that one of them is eliminated quick. As Fuz said, Bardock is a pretty amazing RPer as well...I haven't read so much of his stuff, but the legend that is his skill has been talked about, and I expect much if he signs up. Also, the all-star of Civil Unrest - Android 17. Although the rest of us have some pretty awesome skill, 17 is what pulls it all together. Before FoF2, I knew he was good. He kicked it to the next level, and proved that even someone with a smaller number of posts, without massive powerups; can play with the big dogs. And that's my 2-cents. ![]() Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams Telling myself its not as hard, hard, hard as it seems

Super Buu had it spot on. There is more to it then writing ability. Allies, injuries, weapons, etc.
Hell, someone who sucks at rping could make the final 5 by just hiding out the whole time

I'd also like to add that Rad shouldn't worry too much about people coming after him, since nobody knows where he is unless he reveals it
Besides that, only a maniac like Buu would willingly go for someone stronger than themselves.Edit: Just saw Puar's sig. XD ![]() Bra Wrote:People are dumb, essentially.

Quote:Originally posted by Super Buu Yeah, that's why I'm not too worried about that. If this thing were based on pure roleplaying abilities, my top five (in no real order, because I can't decide) would look like this: Reijin Bra HF17 Bardock 18 That said, most of those people will have to work to boost their activity. Time is certainly an enemy in this kind of format and ads a lot of spice to things, in my opinion. But, since this isn't about straight-up RPing, I think whoever manages to get a hang of the game quickly, and make the second really-big move will be the person to take the gold. I think the Ghetto DA participants will have a definite edge. ![]() "In this world, his world, life is just a game you play"

Character > Writing Ability.
But of course making a good character depends on writing ability EDIT: Rad, check your PMs =o
