[PS] Information Center
#1
This is a museum-type area that has most of the information to go with the game. 44 people put on an island, only one person leaves. Death will not occur unless you kill yourself or walk into a danger zone (which is also explained).

There is a display to show you what the collars look like and how they function. They have both audio and video feed and will limit how your body acts. Everyone comes in with only one set of skin, so regeneration is halted. Gravity is centered so you can't fly. The list of eligible abilities are there too, you can only pick two (you don't pick yet).

Also there are displays showing all 44 weapons. You can't touch or use any right now.

The items you start with are shown. Compass, bread, water, scouter and a map. That's it. It tells you if you run out of anything, you'll have to hunt or peek in buildings for supplies

Finally, there is a small mini-map of the island that shows the buildings and layout. You can't actually see or be on the island yet, this is your character's only chance to peek at it before we start

"Well, this is a little added bonus they didn't have last time around..." The prince talked to himself, his hands resting on the frame that bent rectangularly around his body. He slowly walked through the door into the small building, it had all the qualities of an information kiosk, but more convenient for the user. Allowing the Konat to stroll around while he looked at the hellish 'place' that would be his home for the next few days, or weeks. He really never got to experience the full length of Dante's Abyss in the past, he had died on day one, and Hell was the glorious paradise he had been sent to.

"How convenient!" Minoshia looked at the notice. ' Game Fight's end in no real death. Only elimination. ' He continued to read down. ' Death can only occur from suicide or "danger zones".' Minoshia nodded and continued down the line, looking at the collars and the weapons, the rations he already knew about, very similar to last year. Except, to his surprise, no senzu beans were available this year. Maybe there will be a black market Synex trader around...

"A Map..." Minoshia was astonished. It was no longer roaming around the entire planet, they were on a sector which hadn't been used in shows past. An Island, only a barren island in the middle of a large body of water. Minoshia smiled, old Synex and there tricks. Last year this tournament resulted in the fondest memories of his life, World Domination. Killing with his brother, crowning himself King of Earth... Oh, yes, the good old days...

It's always best to find out as much information as one can about what he's about to get into, and that was what Tapion had just planned to do. He stepped into the Information Center, expecting to find some type of clue or secret about the match. It was like a small museum with one turn deeper into the room. The tall warrior walked along the hard surface of the floor, his steps echoing as he laid eyes on a counter with information laid out. It explained about how there would be no flying or certain abilities and onyl two abilities would be going with a person that entered.

There also the collar...the collars, oh how Tapion remembered them. They were a hassle last time around but he doubted it would be too bad this time. His black eyes skimmed the rest of the information before turning around. He figured he was the only one in the museum as he saw nobody there. The konat body moved to the opposite wall where in a glass display lay the many weapons that were to choose from. He walked along the case, his eyes looking at all the items, the ones that appeared useful and the "joke" items which appeared to be a waste of space.

Once done with that, a sign hanging from the ceiling caught his attention with an arrow pointed down the only turn in the area. 'The Map' it read.

"The map?" he whispered under his breath, "The map of what?" then it struck him. Where we would be of course!

Realizing this, he walked calmly toward the turn, his mind eager but telling himself to stay relaxed. He made the turn and his steps became slow and halted. Time seemed to stop. Was he imagining things? Was he truely seeing what he thought was there. After all that happened, all the evil within himself and this other one. After the supposed rule of Earth with the Cold Industries. Why was he here? What was this person doing? This was all in his imagination. Was he mad or happy? The emotions that ran through Tapion's body were overwhelming and couldn't be described.

"Min...o...shia?" He barely got the word out. It was just above the whisper. He couldn't talk..he was choked up. Did the image of his brother even hear him?

OOC: Hi bro.

"Tapion..." Minoshia's features remained cold as ice, but his mind, and his heart, were racing wild with excitement. It seemed as though a hole in him was filled upon seeing his brother, a hole that had been left there after years upon years of abandonment and betrayal, last time he and his brother parted, it wasn't under very good circumstances either. Minoshia had lost contact with him towards the end of the World Domination War, that had taken place on Earth more recently then the Konat percieved. To him it seemed like lightyears ago, especially now.

Words couldn't capture the emotion as the two Princes, the two surviving members of the Konat race moved towards either other. They advanced slowly, as if trying to make themselves believe this moment was real. As they walked slowly towards each other, no one else in the building noticed the surreal connection linking the minds of the two warriors. Love, Friendship, Brotherhood all these emotions and thoughts were being ping-ponged between the two, building it up into a sort of fantasy. The older Konat reached down, scruffing his younger brother's hair, finally realizing how real they were.

The two embraced, The older Konat smiling with glee. The younger only wished he had the ability to show as much emotion as his brother. The only emotion familiar to the Konat was rage, hate, the lust to kill another being. This new feeling came linked with confusion, a emotion he hadn't felt in months, years... but what seemed to him like a lifespan. His mind was running wild with memories, the confusion building in his mind and intertwining through the multiple beings occupying his cranium, zig-zagging from his inner evil to his peace.

Tears ran down each other their cheeks, for the same reason, yet differently understood. Tapion knew what he was feeling, only wanting to share it with his brother. Minoshia was so happy, he was confused, so excited he was bewildered. His brother was back now though, everything would be fine again. He was thinking of his head pains, of the arguements, of the battles fought in his head. He felt different with his brother around, he almost felt...normal, But then again, his thoughts were always more extreme then the truth...

The two walked side by side, neither wanting to break the cherry on the virginity of this silent understanding. They moved out of the Information center, and immediately each Konat spied a large sign. It was a restaurant, always a good stop.

A new display has been opened. Sit down in one of the seats, but on a mask, and you'll be able to fly over the island in virtual reality! You won't be able to touch anything, but you can enter buildings and get a feel for things.

This is only open today!

Hasky pulled off her blindfold to see her bulky mentor on his knees clutching the back of his head. ?Oh my GOD! Are you OK?!? She asked, concern dripping off of every word.

?Aw?I didn?t know you cared.? Yamu replied with that asshole grin he had adopted when being around the younger female.

?Jerk..? Hasky scolded. ?So?any reason I got such a lucky hit on you, or do you just suck that bad??

?I?I thought I saw someone I knew.? Yamu had to stop and start the sentence again, still not believing Burter himself had waltzed by. ?Well, I have some good news?I think that?s all the training we will do??

?YES!?

?For now??

?Shit.?

?C?mon?let?s see what else this little place as to offer.?

The mix-matched pair walked through the various buildings and services the Dante Lobby had to offer until they stumbled upon the Information Center.

?Wanna go see??

?I?m hungry Yamu?let?s go back to the restraint we passed?please?? The blonde bombshell breathed deep and batted her eyelashes.

The vein covered human looked at her with a mix of amusement and contempt, ?Did you really expect that to work??

?You might be gay?that?s the theory I?m going with now.?

Yamu bellowed with laughter as he walked inside the building which Hasky grudgingly followed him into.

?Hello!? An attendant, overly chipper to be working at a universally televised death math, greeted them as they walked in. Row after row of empty tables with head sets sitting in front of them lines the walls of the room. ?If you would like?you can use these to view a holographic display of the island where the competition will be held.?

?You?re shitting me.? Yamu said.

?I shit you not.? The attendant replied even more happily.

?Man?this will give us a heavy advantage?? Yamu almost giggled with delight as he sat down forcing the helmet over his head. Hasky put on one grudgingly convinced Yamu AND the attendants were both gay and thus no fun for her.

?After this, we do what I want to do.?

OOC: Hasky and Yamu both have a good idea about the Island.

The hybrid walked the busying walk ways of the complex. His eyes scanning over each person he came by as his LEN's scanned over their powers. People both strong, weak, and painfully weak. He ran a hand though his hair as he came towards an information center and peered inside, staring towards the two people he knew where inside for a fact as their signitures where read up on his LENs.

He sighed deeply, he knew he would get a painful ear bashing from at least Hasky. He leaned his head back agasint the ice cool metal and releashing in the coldness for a moment before he peered inside of the room fully, and spotting Hasky, swollowed what pride he had.

"Hasky!" His voice drew her attention, but also Yamu's. The two men shared a glance with each other for a moment, and then Gohan's eyes moved to meet Hasky's. "Can I have a word?" He motioned to the outside of the room where he then moved aroudn the corner to wait for her.

Every ounce of will power Garlic owned was focused on that magazine. It's cover tantalized him with promises to be discovered inside.

"Must... have... hot XXX action..." Beads of sweat dropped onto the glass case and mingled with the fog of his short rapid breaths. "Turn damn you. Turn the page!" No amount of ki could flip that page, and he wouldn't dare break the case. He knew what came of breaking the rules in Dante's Abyss, and dammit he wanted to at least take part of the action before dieing. That playboy though...

"Yo, Attendent!" The pretty young lady looked down at him with a chipper smile.

"Yes?"

"Would there by any chance be a holographic tour of this magazine would there."

"Tch. No." The girls lip curled in disgust as she turned away.

"Damn." Maybe the information center wasn't the best place to spend his time. A good walk in the park might clear his mind of human boobies. He hoped.

"Better get acquainted with this game here..." Piccolo Daimoun whispered under his breath, making an entrance to what he was told to be the information center. The teleportation had gone off perfectly, and this center was where he was advised to go to learn some things about Dante's Abyss.

He saw something that intrigued him, and something that seemed very popular for these tournaments. A collar was illustrated on the wall, and some information about them. The technology inherent in the devices mystified the jade Namekian, but he saw a few other people glancing at them too.

So he just nodded and pretended he knew what the hell a wireless feed was.

"Puh...Piccolo!" He heard a yell come from behind him, from a voice that sounded very familiar. Spinning around and thanking inwardly a chance to dismiss words such as 'coil' and 'gravitational "some such"', he turned to see someone he hadn't seen in a long time.

Yajirobe ran towards him, smiling greatly. The jade Namekian couldn't help but smile back at him.

"Yaj!"

The very first place that Reijin found himself wandering within was the Information Center. Ever since he was a youth, he had always known that knowledge was an advantage. As long as he could out think his opponents, he could use his obviously superior strength against them.

His eyes trailed over a wide array of weaponry and a few of them he found himself questioning. "Packages of large balloons? How would those function in any form for sexual reproduction? If anything, it would HINDER such an activity," he disbelievingly whispered.

A nearby bystander chuckled at this mention. "That's what they are for, man. To help you not get your girl pregnant. Keeps you out of trouble," he winked, nudging his elbow at Reijin.

Reijin ignored him and looked at the flamethrower. "Too large and clunky. I'd rather just rely on my own abilities." He smiled thinking of his time with Akira and her training on Pyrokinesis. The nearby man shrugged and walked over to the side, pointing at a display that was being closed off.

"Check out those things, man. Some form of virtual reality tour of the island. Lets you get a good view of things before you actually get in there." He leaned over the railing looking at the exhibit. "I'd love it if you could do that shit with other things. You know, check out what those broads are hiding before you get a well-hung surprise, you know what I mean?" His ignorant laugh went vacantly past the dark haired Saiyan who was looking at the exhibit.

Reijin immediately threw himself over the railing and put one of the helmets on. The other man's eyes boggled and he yelled at him. "Hey man, they might kill you for that! They said that this exhibit was closed!" He anxiously looked over at the security guards that were nearby.

"Go suck a railroad spike!" the angry warrior found himself returning, using a saying he'd heard from Videl during specific intervals of the month. As soon as the visor came down over his eyes, his vision was surreally filled with that of the imagery of a beautiful island. His ears were soon filled with the sounds of tranquility.

Exactly the form of battleground that Reijin liked.

?Information Center?? Vegeta read the large sign that hung over the obvious booth where all the stats can be predetermined. This wasn?t going to be easy, but perhaps reading some of the things here would give the King some sort of upper hand. He walked in and began to look around. He could hear whispers of the local Saiya-jins pointing out Vegeta?s presence. Some shied away with fear, and others stood proud to see him out and about the city.

He stopped at the first location, turning left to look into a large glass container of sorts where a few assorted items were placed on a display case. ?Compass?? Vegeta began to read to himself the fine print beneath each item, ?bread, water, scouter, and a map.? He huffed and skipped a few lines down to the part of where it states that if you run out of anything, you will have to hunt for survival. A smug grin broke the seal of the Saiya-jin?s lips and he closed his eyes. An image appeared of when he was just a young figher, no more then 10 years of age and was placed on a planet for 6 months, given the order to completely annihilate the population by his lonesome. The task wasn?t easy, but the only way he learned to survive was by living off of the land.

Food was scarce, yet he soon found where to look, and what to look for. Live and learn, that?s what he dealt with for six months. Eat something good, be full for days; eat something bad, and within seconds he found himself hurled over a bush and releasing all the contents of his insides. The smell of certain scents were permanently instilled within his brain housing group, and even now as he stood in this center, he was able to smell the scent of fresh fruit.

?Mmm!? Vegeta?s eyes snapped open as he heard the deep rumble of his stomach. ?Damn you!? He cursed at himself for allowing the thoughts of food race into his stomach. The last time he ate was that very morning, before the attack on his peaceful domain. ?I need food?? He grumbled again as his stomach spun around and back kicked his kidney. The King found himself looking around for a certain fulfillment, but to his digression, the only thing he found was the bread that was showcased in front of him. Hmm? bread didn?t sound so bad. His eyes darted back and forth; there were no guards in site. No one would care if a small piece of bread had gone missing right? That?s what he figured, so without anymore thinking, Vegeta opened the glass case and grabbed the luscious piece of bread. There was no time to lose as he opened his mouth and placed the loaf into his mouth, chomping down hard on a soft?yet? hard?very hard?rock?

?Argh!? He tossed the tiny boulder onto the ground. ?It?s a fake! Damn you to hell!? He kicked the rock straight into another glass showcase, shattering it into thousands of sharp little pieces. The noise caught the ears of nearby guards, and they quickly began to notice the King who still had his foot in the air. ?Uh oh?? Vegeta knew this looked like a sticky situation, but there was only one way to get out of it. ?Run!? He spun around and began to run out the front entrance, just when he saw Reijin fooling around with something he shouldn?t be touching, but there was no time to confront him. His steps carried him out the door and quickly he threw himself into a large crowd of people. Stealing the robe of an elderly woman, Vegeta wrapped himself up tightly into it, ensuring his face was completely covered. The guards appeared with haste, looking around with confusion. They couldn?t detect Vegeta under his new garment, and decided to continue their search elsewhere, running off towards the eastern sectors.

?Excuse me!? The Elderly woman snatched the robe back from Vegeta and whirled it around her once more. ?You should be ashamed of yourself! Taking things from an old woman like that. What would your mother think?? Vegeta just stared, a bit puzzled at this short woman whose hair looked grayer then used tires.

?Er? I?m sorry?? Vegeta said as he discarded the woman and proceeded on his way to find something to eat. Just then he had a nifty idea, ?Maybe I should?ve eaten her?not like she has much longer to live anyways??

The hyrbids eye twitched as his mind spiked with a deep fear that he felt from a single source of energy. He turned his head around a corner as he saw a pair walk inside of the information center where Hasky was, or so he'd last seen her. He'd been waiting for some time for her to show up.

"You.." His eyes narrowed on a single being as he entered in to the chamber, ignoring the prince beside the target.

Reijin..Him? He killed you?! He's nothing but a scrawny bastard! I'd squash him in an instant! Shut up.. You don't know what he's capable of.. Oh but I do.. And unlike you, I know that people can be brought to their knees in an instant you useless ass. SHUT IT!

Gohan shook his head firmly, trying to keep his mind leveled and stop him self from allowing the darker side of him take control. If he did, christ knows what would happen to him. Instead, he took a slower method to it. He slink inside of the room, and began to slowly examine some of the weapons on display, paying them little mind, instead his mind was focused on the pressence of the older saiya-jin that had killed him so long ago.

He also mentally sweeped the room, trying to find the woman he had set otu to find initally.

The program was interesting creation, if anything. If he wanted to move to another location within an instant, all he had to do was reach his hand forward, and place his hand into a specific grasping motion. A digital display would open before him, a map of the island, and he'd simply touch the location that he wished to visit. Within seconds, his body was hurtled at voracious speed towards the area designated, and he'd be able to traverse the square by means of his feet easily. He could even reach his hands out and simply grasp and remove various obstacles, as if to notice areas hidden behind other obstacles.

Impressionable of a program as it was, he was standing atop a large mountain peak and allowing himself to take in a great bit of scenery when his world went pitch black. Everything collapsed into a single line across his field of vision, and then faded out. The sounds of the room once more filled his ears, and he angrily pulled the visor from his head. "Just what the hell is the matter with this thing?" Rising from his seat, he saw numerous security guards standing over him.

"Sir, we must request that you leave."

The angry Saiyan rose quickly, his fists tightening. Only his trained mind allowed him to suppress his lethal intent, but his eyes glowed with it. "Is information something that is denied to all but a specific few?" he spoke slowly... coldly...

The guards would have nothing of it. One of them reached for a Ki Rifle at his back while another simply touched a wrist instrument. As soon as he touched the button, Reijin's vision began to catch a reddish hue beneath his neck, flashing rapidly. "I'd suggest you leave right now. You have ten seconds to comply. You will not be asked again. Failure to do so will be your removal from this island. Oh, and your ten seconds are up." The collar froze on red for a moment and the Saiyan's brow dripped a droplet of moisture. The guard leaned forward and smiled. "I suggest that you run quickly, scum."

The insult was nearly more than the Saiyan tactician would allow, but he'd long since done everything within his power to prevent the power of self compulsion. Growling loudly, he spun immediately and stormed out of the display, not paying attention to anyone within the room. He nearly noticed a voice call out to him, but he ignored it, shoving anyone in front of him away.

His collar finally returned to normal the moment that he reached the outside door.
