Ok, this is gonna be a thread full of the sig's & avie's I made.. Feel free to point out one's you like, hate, & way's I can improve. A few have been seen floating about the place on either Evo or here. So dish the truth & I'll listen..... For once..

I know that's a fair ammount of stuff I've made in the last.. 4 day's.. But I have a ton of free time on my hand's ??

Anyway's you lazy bunch, let's hear some feedback!

The first thing I would do, if I were you, is MAKE THE SIGS SMALLER.

I'm not yelling, just trying to emphasize a point. Take your current sig, for example. The background is alright, fairly interesting, but not interesting enough to justify the 200 pixels, or so of nothing. It also means that you don't need to worry about finding more pictures, or making the font bigger to fill room. Seriously, I think that would make most of your sigs look better.

Another thing that bugs me, personally, is when a pic just cuts off. The clearest example is in the Majin Buu sig, but it appears in several of them. If you're going to use a pic that has a defined edge like that, either put it on one edge, or find a way to work it into the background. It's horribly disrupting to the eye.

Mixing up the colors would be a nice addition as well. You did a good job with the Burter sig, but all of the other ones are pretty monotone. Its fine if you wanna pick blue to work with, but pulling extra colors from the pics that you're going to put in the sig is a nice way to mix things up.

Another thing that, more often than not, makes sigs look way more complete, is to add a border. Just a one pix, black or white border does wonders. It makes it look far more complete than if it just ends. Also, I would suggest pulling down a ton of fonts. Using the same few over and over, regardless of how cool they are (BASE 02, anyone?) gets old.

Those were just the first few comments that sprang to mind. If I think of anything else, I'll reply with it.

Ok Rad, I'll bare all that in mind. The border I jsut keep forgetting to do. Font's I'll download during the day tomorrow, & the background's I'll do my best to work on aswell. I'm pretty new at all this, so gimme a chance to work ever thing out. I'm takign advice from ever decent sig maker out there (Goku, 18, now Rad) so I should hopefully get a more smoother approch to it all.

The thing with those cut off pic's, I tend to forget about the blending option, & leave most pic's as is. I should really pay more attention to some of the key feature's to the program.

But thank's for the tip's Rad. Ever one else, keep 'em coming. And thank's Burrty, I didn't think putting the image's in would of been a good idea..

Use different pics for avatars and sigs. I know it's easier to just pull the pic out of the sig and all, but it looks kinda lazy.

I hope you don't mind, Jan, but I took one of your sigs and made some of the changes I was talking about. I thought it might be easier to actually see what I was talking about... and I was bored.

I added the border. Used a font you hadn't used.

The pic on the left I flipped so that the cut-off edge hit against the edge of the sig. The right one I basically kept the same.

The other thing I did was used the eyedropped to take one of the colors out of the pic on the left (I think it was a blue) and rendered some clouds using that color. I ran it through a filter and just messed with the opacity until I liked it.

Again, I'm not trying to show you up or anything, I just thought some of my comments would make more sense. Reading back through what I said, I don't think I worded things as well as I could have.

Alright.. Thank's for the hint Rad, I'll bare it all in mind. I just gotta rember to work on some of the pic's, blending, bordering, font's which I forgot to download..
