So today I experienced something that was 10x worse than boot camp. Apparently in the Marines it's almost mandatory to get your wisdom teeth pulled in order for mission readiness. However, we all know it's just to give the navy doctors someone to practice on. Today, i got all 4 of my wisdom teeth PULLED out of my mouth. Oh my god...I don't even think i have to go into description to explain myself. The pain, the blood, the bruises on my beautiful face. This sux, sure i get 2 days off of work, but my god, i'd rather go through boot camp again than deal with what i'm dealing with right now. I bled all over my apartment, lol

Yeh, they refused to knock me out...so i saw/heard everything. Not pretty, not pretty at all. Felt like i was in one of those torture horror movies.

I've had 4 teeth pulled, braces for almost 3 years, and then they want to take out my wisdom teeth. Oh not to mention I'll have to wear a retainer.
Just be glad you don't need braces.

Heh, I got mine pulled around Christmas time this year. They had to give me quite a bit of sedative to knock me out, so they more or less drug me to the car afterwards. I laid in bed for a full day, bleeding all over the place and just wishing the pain would stop.
I hope they at least gave you some narcotics to kill the pain. Tylenol doesn't do shit against that kind of hurt.

Still got mine. That's why the Army kicks ass. Also, Basic was easy. I'd rather be doing that then what I'm doing now. Atleast I'd have something to do.

Yeh i got medicine, them bastards gave me IBProfen....wtf.

I had an eye ligament placed over my pupil once.. I actully plucked it outwith my hands... After being awake for ten minutes.. At home..

Well yesterday I went back to the doc and told'em my face was still swollen and in pain. Well, the side that the trainee did was fucked up, and apparently got infected. So i had to redo some surgery, get renumbed, have the stitches taken out, cleaned out, then restitched. Although i got 2 more days off of work (which equals a total of 7 wonderful days off), I was also put on 2 more medications, for a total of 4. Now im super drugged, it's a wonder how i ever managed to RP last night, so if my RPs seem a lil sluggish, as well as my speech on AIM or something, you know why. I predict this'll be such for like another week. Damn navy doctors.
