A heads up

As some of you may or may not know, I came to America two years ago with solely my mother. She brought me here from ireland so i could get the best education possible, and then we'd all come back home and I'd be able to get a good job and supply for my family.

Well it turns out, my mother told me yesterday, our money has run out and she has no more money to stay here, nevermind put me through the one year i have left of Prep School. So i talked to the colleges that were recruiting me for American Football, Notre Dame, Maryland, Nebraska and Arizona St. mostly and they said they would basically pay about 3/4 to full tuition when i go to college, but if i don't stay at American high school, they wouldn't fund me to go to their schools afterward. I spoke to my mom about the possibility of me staying here by myseld, or with my NYC cousins. She immediately asked me how i would pay for prep school and what i would do when my cousins left on one of their 'business' trips, I've told some of you about my cousins... so you know what i mean. I had no answer, and so it seems that at the end of the school year we will be moving back to Ireland, where we can afford to live, and I have to switch back to futbol from American football in hopes to get some money from the University of Dublin or Cork, or something. So basically with all the stupid shit that has been going on, I'm not actually that pissed.

But i thought i'd let you know, even with my laptop, there may be a few weeks or days or a month even, i dont know how long and i dont know when, but i'll let u know when the time comes, that i may not be able to be on and RP very much. Just letting you guys know.

I know I don't have alot of money and stuff, but if you really want to stay over here in the states, you can transfer to a school over near my place and stay with me if you want, until you get out of school. The only thing I ask is just help out around the house and when you are out of school for summer, a part time job or something. But you are more than welcome to stay with me. I am not too far away, maybe 10 hours drive or something. ^_^


EDIT: I am serious. If you really want to go to college and finish school over here, hit me up. I will try to help out the best I can. Don't want you to miss out on a good education or anything because of lack of money.

But really, Minoshia, if you wanna stay there are far too many loopholes for you to write it all off just like that. You could always transfer to a public school at Violets, or down here if you really want to. You can stay in the cabin we'll be building this Summer, provided you're willing to party once in a while.

Our school has one of the best Math Departments in Public school, VA, and by far the best in the district. We've also got the coolest 11Advanced and 12 English teacher around, and I got a 600 on the SOL so I must've learned something..

Good luck Mino. Can't offer any help...since I really have nothin' to offer. What with my lack of house, due to the fact that my mum owns it, and I kinda live with her...I can't really tell her, "Mum, Mino's moving in."

But, I hope it all works out. Life throws you a curveball every once in a while, I suppose. But...on the bright side, you're alive, you have friends, etc. So...everything's still for the best, I reckon.

Wow. I can't imagine what that must be like for you. If Violet's place is a bit too far, I live in NC and got no problem helping out a friend in need. Friend in the general sense, instead of actually knowing each other.
