You will be judged on your answer in the following:

1) First and foremost, why should you be selected to play?

I?m a dedicated member, and while I can be a pain in the back side of many a staff member, I know a fair amount of the RPG and it?s workings.

2) What qualities do you possess that will make you the Idol?

Patience, understanding, knowing when to have a good laugh, and no longer being an up tight git >.>

3) Tell me any previous experience you have with running an RPG. Included should be the name of the RPG, the genre, and how long it lasted.

Evo ? DBZ ? Year or so.
Xaivers School ? X-Men ? appointed just before it?s crash >.>

4) Finally, you need to write a short essay/description (200+ words) of what you feel being a staff member of Chubbs is all about. What do you think is nessecary, what do you think has to be done. Be detailed, as much as you can. Don't kiss our asses, we arn't looking for compliments.

The staff have gotta be devoted to doing their job, willing to handle given situations like ignorant members, applicants who don?t read the joining information properly, and able to keep a lid on spam. While these are best noted qualities of staffing, you also gotta know how to keep it laid back and not to let the place get to you too badly, regardless of what ever people may say to you as a staffer.

Some of the jobs the staff have to deal with can be awkward and annoying, such as members who can harass them in to trying to do some thing, or not follow procedure properly (such as bumping, or posting where they aren?t allowed).

A necessary problem always has to be handled on a one-to-one situation. As each person tends to take things more differently and can be more stubborn then another. As with most things, a good quality of staffing is to have the patience to deal with problems with out letting them get under your skin.

Also, while ass kissing to the staff is an often must have on some situations (such as bannings), you also gotta understand that the staff have lives of their own. If you may see a staffer online, it may not necessarily mean they can get to your problem or update. So, keep this in mind if you decided to pester a staffer to do some thing via PM or IM. Their real life problems will always come fore most and more needingly then anything else.

I'm impressed with how you managed to answer the last question, especially this part:

As with most things, a good quality of staffing is to have the patience to deal with problems with out letting them get under your skin.

With that said, I can't say I'm totally swayed that you're capable of it, but I'm happy to see that you're aware of what's nessecary and are willing to learn.

As of now, I lean on yes, but I want you to answer #2 better before I decide, because, well, it sucked.

2) What qualities do you possess that will make you the Idol?

I've learnt to keep a level head regarding all problems, no matter how close you may be to some one, you will always need to take an offical stand point from a nutural prespective. Althoug I learnt this the hard way, I understand at least what it means. I'm keen to understand alot about this place that I may not already know, as I've spent the better part of a whole year looking over and fimiliarising my self with the main site and it's contents.

I am also a tentive hearer, so I can understand if some one is needing towards an update and how to handle them appropiately due to some of my real life workings with my family/friends and their problems >.>

If you do everything you just listed, you'll win.

But I don't think you will.

Regardless, I'll give you the chance to prove me wrong.

Agreed. You do tend to have a good evaluation about how the site runs and such.

I definitely like your second explanation better. =p

That's not much. Granted, quality > quantity, but the list looks a bit skimpy, eh? 'Course, if accolades were required, I wouldn't exactly be here. Wink

Good stuff.

I knew you'd apply. And I knew I'd accept your application. You might have a somewhat shady history as a Staff member on Evo, but barring you from this competition would be silliness.
