You will be judged on your answer in the following:
1) First and foremost, why should you be selected to play?
I work hard, when I have the motivation, and I'm pretty likeable. Sides, my RL name is the coolest thing ever.
2) What qualities do you possess that will make you the Idol?
Imaginative and hardworking. A bit of a perfectionist, sometimes. I'm reliable as well, if I say that I'm going to do something, I will.
3) Tell me any previous experience you have with running an RPG. Included should be the name of the RPG, the genre, and how long it lasted.
A few years ago I was an updater on a site called DragonballQuest. The site kinda tanked, which was good cuz it really sucked.
4) Finally, you need to write a short essay/description (200+ words) of what you feel being a staff member of Chubbs is all about. What do you think is nessecary, what do you think has to be done. Be detailed, as much as you can. Don't kiss our asses, we arn't looking for compliments.
Being a staff-member is all about helping the players of Chubbs. Making sure the site runs smoothly and keeping the peace. It's not about the power one could lord over the people, it's about using that power to help them. A staffer should genuinely listen to people when they complain and pay attention to their suggestions, not disregard them because they don't like the person or they think their idea is better. It's up to them to be a fair judge, even when a situation comes up in which they were involved. A staff-member should never be immune to the laws he or she helps uphold
Of course it's fun, and why not? A little abuse of power never hurt anyone, but there's no reason to overdo it either. One must strike that careful balance between gaiety and seriousness in order to keep Chubbs as the premier DBZ roleplay online. This site is so great because of what our staff and members have done together. Staff is nothing more than a title that comes with a burden of responsibilities. People who complain about the staff don't realise just how stressful that job can be. It's like children complaining about school, when their parents have to go to work. And that's my two-hundred plus words. Thank you.
