Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2

It'll probably be a boring game that I'll play twice and set out of my life for good.

That said, I fully plan on buying it

I can't blame them for trying to make a good game, but I can blame them for failing

I absolutely loathe Budokai 3. Why? That dumb thing where you went into hyper mode, kicked your opponent away, then pressed the circle button. "If you press a different button than your opponent, you hit them for 600 Damage! If you keep doing that, you get super sweet combo moves!"

It's so stupid. The computer uses this NON-STOP in later levels, and is always spot on in delivering it. The game sucks. I seriously don't recommend it to anyone for that very reason. If it were not for this one thing, the game would be nearly perfect, but that stupid mode ruins it completely.

If you're up for spending money on any of them, just go for Budokai 3 and save yourself a lot of frustration and trouble. Better graphics, excellent fight sequences and character selection, and the addition of teleportation in fights really gives you the action-packed thrill of the DBZ universe. Still a realatively easy button-masher, but I've wasted...I mean enjoyed countless hours on B3.

I think theres been some mix up, a couple of you are talking about budokais as if thats what Goku Jr. was originally referring to. I believe he was talking about the Budokai Tenkaichi, the second line of budokais.

Yes Hercule, but I believe Tapion is saying that Budokai 3 is better than Tenkachi 2 or atleast in his eyes.

I personally, never played Tenkachi 2, I only played Budokai 3 once because my nephew has it and it was kickass.

I have gamecube and they only did Budokai 2, no Budokai 3. Sad

Budokai 3 isn't a DBZ game. It's a mediocre fighting game using DBZ models.

Budokai Tenkaichi is a DBZ game, and I'm fully looking forward to the sequel. My only criticism of the first was the lack of moves for each character, and that's been rectified in this, as well as the in-game transformations.

So when is it set to come out for? I've got to decide against this and WWE vs Smackdown 07. And I own the DBZ budokai trilogy. Going to get Tenkachi next check.

The only dbz game I hated was Budokai 2 and Super DBZ...the only thing I hated about Budokai 2 was the 'story' mode...the whole board game thing sucked big time. And Super DBZ...ugh. It was like they were stoned when they made that game.

All the more characters to incrementally add over a course of drawn-out sequels!

I'm proud of what the BT makers have done, though. They just went all-out with the first sequel and put in just about every Dragonball-related character there ever was.

Who the hell wants to be Cui or Sauzaa?

Ouch.

Anyway does anyone know the european release for this game? See, my mum's going shopping tomorrow, even though it's pretty embarrassing asking for a DBZ game, I was thinking I'd ask her to get it.

Sadly, the game won't feature your's truly, meaning it will be wanting in the awesome department. I don't care if Blue was gay or not, he was one of the better villians in DB. And the way he died? Pretty gruesome.

Well, for me... I've only gotten two games that were worth while so far. I'm not a good game shopper. Also, Xbox doesn't have two of my favorite series of games...

Budokai, and SDvR

It's only good for American made FPS/a few other genre games and having the graphical edge for triple system releases.

Yeah. What's your point?
