Next Gen Videogame Console Discussion

I played a Wii tonight.

What can I say to describe it... OMG. That shit was rocking insane fun. Wow. I mean, we played the boxing and bowling game and tennis game, and jeez, that was some fun stuff there. I loved it. I seriously want one now. I actually would have a system my gf would actually consider playing with me.

That's strange, because last night I had another fucking dream I was playing the Wii.

This time I actually got to play the game - Zelda - and it was in vivid detail. I was facing a boss who no doubt doesn't exist in the actual game, but still awesome. Running around a whole village on my horse, fighting this giant tiger mini-boss who's running around the town, by shooting the bloated spots on its stomach (it had just stolen and eaten a load of cheese). I had already visited a dungeon where my friend had been kidnapped.

JESUS CHRIST I NEED A WII ALREADY! Just 6 days until the taunting dreams stop. =[

I'm not even that much into video games anymore since I feel like I have no free time, but I had a dream that consisted of me finding this beat-down shop that sold PS3's and that I was the first one to buy it. It freaked me out because I really haven't given any of the new systems a second thought. Maybe subconsciously I'm really wanting to get one, hell, I don't know.

But yeah, if I did, I think I'd finally lean to a Wii. I've been a Sony fan thick and thin, but I think the tradition would have to end. That is, if I ever considered even buying one of the new systems.

Oh and sue me for the double postage, but Rei, you really freaked me out with the topic name.

Seriously, don't do that. Ever. But yeah, I am a pervert apparently for looking at the thread anyways. Sad

My Aunt's trading in the gamecube for a Wii. So, I'm well on my way to Wii-dom. I won't ever be able to play online, though...it'll be at her house, and she has no wireless router. =;(

I'm there every afternoon after school.

Just my luck, that I have to go to London for four months. Honors program, and from the sound of it, most students barely have time to play a few games of Solitaire each week. Let alone Twilight Princess. =(

First thing next summer, I'm totally picking one up.

Along with Alex, when reading the title of the thread I thought Erin had run out on you and you had used your hand to make things all better.

So how much money is she adding on top of that?

A Zelda game with an actual collection of sidequests? It's going to rock.
You should have played Majora's Mask. That shit was chock-a-block.

But yeah, when it comes to the point where I've actually dreamt about playing TP, I know I need to get my hands on it. I've predicted since close to when it was first announced that it's likely going to beat OOT as being the best Zelda game of all time, based purely on the amount of development time they're putting into it, and all the features I've heard about. Since OOT is my personal favourite game of all time, that would mean ... yeah. And according to IGN's preview (THE PREVIEWS ARE NOT HELPING MY HYPE) it is the best Zelda ever.

I got my Playstation 3 all into it's new home and hooked up and shit.

Beautifuckingful. Seriously, you can't talk shit about it once you've played. Worth the price tag.

That's great Waff but we're talking about the Wii. >_> Unless Reijin intended this to be a console war thread.

I think I'd stick to PC gaming, most I have to worry about is what video card to get for upgrade etc.

I wouldn't mind talking smack over Xbox 360 Live, beats trash talking over vent/teamspeak since they can mute you haha

I've made my mind up. I decided to get the 360, worse come to worse I can trade it in later and get a PS3.

Once I get online I wanna get in some matches and what not with people on Chubbs who have an Xbox to show how awesome I am.

I'm getting a Xbox360, and a Wii later on. And maybe a PS3 when the price drops a tad.
