So like, I was reading the CU information archive, looking for info on Paige because I wanted to put her (along with pretty much everyone else, but then the post became a two-parter >_>) in my RP. And then I suddenly realised that - holy shit - she can manipulate electricity.
Some of you from CU might remember that I was originally going to give Zanshin electrokinesis, since as he's Buu's 'whitelighter' now, and they often have electrical powers, that might ... make sense. But this is a lot more convenient. Basically since Buu's power stems from having absorbed loads of electricity into his skin, he only needs to be shocked more to fully unlock it.
This was going to be Zanshin 'helping Buu out' as a gift or something, but thinking about it, this is a lot more convenient. Paige is super-empathic and such, right? She was able to sense the destruction of the other Frost planet. So it makes sense that she could sense that Buu has a latent power that only needs a little more push to be unlocked.
You get where this is going. She's gonna go Darth Sidious on Buu.
But yeah, I didn't actually think of this until the final two paragraphs of the RP where Paige pops up. It was just going to be a 'hinting' at Raikinesis, a foreshadowing if you will. But this works waaay better. And it'll probably make Paige and SB friends, since Super is going to be Super Grateful (lol) for having this new cool skill.
I'm just writing this to confirm that I got all of her abilities and such right, since you know your characters better than me, Seventeen. My original RP was gonna have SB and KB exchanging a cold glance or something, before they go their separate ways once more, but someone else can probably do that. >_>
