The Strategy
#1
Pending on Burter's response to my message and spy stuff, the next few days will play out like this:

Lethe will either stage a coup and will join under us, or we'll attack them and beat them.

Joy is waiting with 600ish troops one square from Hypteron.

Outcast probably won't leave Hyperton just because it's so defensive. This gives us two possibilities:

We can either attack Hypteron and have Joy flank it and shell it with artillery, and then try and find someway in. This will probably involve heavy casualties. If the spies are successful at all, this might not be as bad as it sounds.

Or, we can go and attack the surrounding buildings. Doing this might lure Outcast out of the fortress.

What do you guys think?

Surround fort at four sides, taking territories as needed and force them out of the city with an inward threat of epic somethingness.

I agree with the taking their towns and stuff. I mean, it expands what we have, plus, it limits their options. Control everything they have then press up against their fort if they refuse to budge; destroying them.

Or we could just pose as the nice guys. If that works. Lead them to united and rape them from two sides then, through a previously disclosed agreement, return to our turf and give United a day of final recuperation before we dive in for seconds.

Don't roleplay for Bajir.

We aren't taking it yet. Moving to Outcast Fort with the new day.

The goal is to try and get them to surrender, and yes, they'll refuse. When we go to Outcast, we'll tell them the same thing we told Bajir and Lethe, and when they refuse, we'll attack and take it. After we take it, we'll go back to Bajir and basically say "Still don't want to surrender?"

Hopefully, they'll surrender after that or at least stage a coup against Outcast. Even if they don't, I'm banking that Lethe will at least surrender.

Yes, I've been reading military strategy of the Mongols, and yes, they did the exact same thing. Except that, by taking the 3rd building, the first two surrendered. I'm really just blabbering on now.

Ha! They just blew their defense and a chance to flank us!

We aren't attacking Bajir fort, by the way.

We're going to stay on the square though to try and make them think that they need to stay there as well. We're staying out of range so that, even if they do want to fight us, they'll have to leave their fort.

Joy is moving on the fortress tonight.
