Ally or Adversary?

Welcome to ?Ally or Adversary??, a freeform, mini-RPG inside CDBZ. This means as long as you're active in CDBZ, you may indulge yourself in all the mayhem that is AA. The roleplays you post here are not expected to be pure, unadulterated grandeur. This is just something fun to do in one's spare time; however, I implore all participants to please be wary to follow all the proper OOC etiquette that applies to Chubbs. A warning for improper behavior here is the same as a warning anywhere else on these boards.

Now I'm going to cover the basis for everyone. Just be forewarned this is a crude, rough draft, I will work, if need be, to make these rules as visually delightful as need be in the future.

• ?Sign-up for a character in the appropriate thread. You may choose from virtually any fictional character out there who appeared in some medium of entertainment (i.e. comics, video game, movie). Your only limitations are as thus: No custom characters and no character based of a real person with no historical basis. This means that someone may join as Abraham Lincoln if that tickles their fancy, but no one may join as someone like Eminem or something akin to that >_>
  
  ?All roleplaying that takes place ?IC (In-Character)? belongs in the appropriate subforum. Ally or Adversary takes place in a version of the planet Earth manipulated as such to be a massive planetoid lined with a number of multiple, autonomous regions and kingdoms fused together long ago into one giant amalgamation.
  
  ?Aside from Earth, Ally or Adversary also contains a Hell and a Heaven dimension for people who wish to roleplay as the damned, the graced, etcetera. One may kill of their character at any time and travel to one of these locations. At one and only one point during their tenure as the dead, the writer may traverse between the two realms if he desires to do so for sake of storyline. Characters are free to return to the realm of the living when they so desire, but just listen to a word of advice from me, I implore you to have a decent story for everything. Spontaneously dying and coming back to life isn't something I'll stop you from doing, but it does make you look like a poor writer =/ In closing, notify me when you change locations or desire to do so.
  
  ?To establish this, everyone?s characters are of the same statistical strength. This is in order to eliminate the need for statistics and place an emphasis on the writing. Characters that have a bevy of unique powers and abilities will not be limited or handicapped, but your only advantage will be the writing tool such prowess entails. If you want to run around challenging other writers, that is your prerogative, but some people may simply want to develop an interesting story on their own time.
  
  ?God-moding is for losers, and it will be punished. So don?t gallivant around rending the planet asunder or ripping all the other characters new assholes for no reason. That?s just not cool.
  
  ?If you want to change your character than feel free to do so if you?ve actually bothered to give your current character a chance. Merely post something about why you?d like to switch and then state who you would like to continue your career here at AA as. If you?ve done more than just roleplay with yourself, you might want to run this switch by with anyone you may have interacted with. That?s not mandatory as much as it proper manners =o
  
  ?Feel free to alter your character slightly as your storyline develops. For instance, if you selected someone with an alternate form, powered-up form, or even just an adverse personality, I implore you to utilize that to enrich your writing. We here at AA want to enlighten you to do as you please (within reason, of course) in order to have your most enjoyable time here. After all, this place is here merely for the sake of having fun in a laid-back, freeform nature!
