Bursting into Burter's office, a visibly irritated Spopovich bore down on the General Manager's desk like a tornado.
"What the fuck is the idea of putting me in that Loser's Battle Royale?" the flustered giant said, "My record might be bad, but I bring a type of entertainment that can't be measured on a piece of paper."
Letting out a soft sigh, Burter slid the paper's he'd been working on to the side and looked up at the man before him. Neither fear nor anger was reflected in his eyes, just the calm certainty that came with running a business like this.
"It's true. You go out there and perform. I have to admit, I like the type of show you put on. And I admire how you hadn't taken a night off since joining us. But the rules state that anyone who performs under par is liable to get booted from the show. And that's you this time. Sorry, but that's my final answer."
Unsure on how to take this news, Spopovich simply turned to leave, figuring he'd best prepare for the match that could make or break his career. He was halted at the door, however, by Burter's words.
"I expect you to do well out there, Spopovich. I have plans for you in the future."
With a snort of contempt, the giant wrestler gave his reply, "Oh, I'll do alright. You'll definitely see me again."
