Anyone got any good Monk builds? My second profession is currently a warrior but when I get to the desert I'll be changing it.
BTW, For those of you who don't play this game anymore...why? We could rule the GW world if we teamed together!
Oh yea if anyone has any items they want to part with, I am here with open arms.
One more thing, I've just started a Mes/Ele, so if you have any tips and future builds for that profession hook me up! Thanks.

1: Blessed Signet
2: Life Barrier
3: Life Bond (after Barrier)
4: Mending (it helps)
5: Watchful Spirit (if you're buffing 2 people and not 3)
6: Dwayna's Kiss
I used this regularly for Alliance battles back in the day. Because of the sheer amount of enchantments you're maintaining, Blessed Signet (it might be Divine Signet, it's been a while) returns a lot of Energy - in most cases a positive return. It's extremely effective in Alliance battle because people don't seem to pack a enchantment strip there. Because of the relatively unchaotic nature of smaller 4v4 battles, though, you'll get pwned.
You'll also get pwned in the face in Elona, unfortunately, as it seems the mobs there pack an awful lot of enchant strips.

If I were you, Turles, I would restart your character as an E/Me. There's very little reason to have Mesmer as your primary. Their armor is almost as bad as Elementalist armor and their primary is really not that useful.
I own all the Guild Wars games, but have gotten distracted from them with City of Heroes and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes. I really like GW, but usually spend time on the game I'm paying for monthly.

God I hate pre-sear.....I should've used common sense, energy storage on an ele would suit a mes(2ndary profession). Thanks KB.

Waff did the same thing. His main in Prophecies was Me/Mo and by the time he hit 20 he kept saying how much of a waste taking Me primary was, since fast-casting blows chode. The only time I've ever seen Fast Casting worth while was on a Me/E build where Fast Casting and Earth Magic were capped. I've never seen anyone throw out a ward, an Earthquake, and an Aftershock so quickly. Ridiculous amounts of burst damage, even for an Ele.

Me/x has some utility in PvP for the reasons Raditzu described: piling on burst using high-casttime spells.
I found it practically useless in PvE, though, because those spells that benefit the most from Fast Casting are also those that tend to have the longest recharge times and, thus, are not well suited to the constant flow of combat in PvE.
