Into the Future
#1
So here's the deal. The idea came up in the dev forum to incorporate a time-jump into the Chubbs storyline. This, however, is something of a double-edged sword. While it allows some people to introduce new things into their character's backstory but it hinders other people at the same time. So, we decided to ask you guys what you thought. This'll be pretty simple and painless. The poll will stay up until the 11th and whatever choice gets the most votes is what we'll go with.

If 5-10 years is enough to make Raditzu the king of Vegeta(which would make 18 queen? >.>), then I say yes!

That's such an awesome idea.

Rad would be about as good a King as Goku was a good husband.

What's the matter with knockin' up your wife then leaving and let her raise him all by herself and not support her?

Probably, yeah, but at least there would be giant statues of him everywhere.

I actually wouldn't be opposed to this, as long as I could fluid time the events that happened before the shift. It kind of slots in with a few ideas I had.

Of course, if it screws up things for other people, I'd rather let it be.

I've already started planning for what I'll do with the time skip.

5-10 years sounds good. More than enough time for everyone to fill in the blank with their previous and new characters.

I'm banking on a time skip. If there isn't one, yeah I can work with it, but it's pretty much the only way I can bridge from canon to custom. That, and there's no way in hell I can finish all of my current storyline. That's why a timeskip would be awesome, so that everything could have already occurred.

But still, if others are strongly against it, and simply can't work around it, I'd be fine without one.

Oh, yeah, I voted for 1-5 years.

I agree with a timeskip. Otherwise we would need some event to explain the sudden change. But it also musn`t be too much time. So somewhere beetween 1-5 years is good.

GTFO!
Edit: And Rad can't be King. He's not worthy.

So will this happen before the reset or...what? I'm pretty stupid so if someone can break this down for me...I'd be grateful.

It would be at the same time as the reset. If it were in a movie, it would look something like this:

*scene of Rad buying some waffles*
*fade to black*
FIVE YEARS LATER...
*fade to scene*
*Raditzu buys some tacos*

If that's what people want, that's what we'll go with. If people vote against a time-skip it would go something like this:

*scene of Rad buying waffles*
*cut to scene of Rad eating waffles*

Make sense?

EDIT:
