Why did you guys?
#1
Why did you guys get into roleplaying (no not with your girl/boyfriend but online text based style) in the first place? For me at first it was my love for wrestling when I was in Efeds. Later I became a DBZ fan. I'm getting back into it in order to work on my writting skills and tell a few stories and have some fun.

My ex showed it to me, and we had RPed in chat rooms before. I wanted to be where he was, even though he was my ex, maybe I wanted to impress him. I liked writing, and anime, so I joined DBZA, and here I am now.

I live in a two family house, and the kid downstairs from me used to do it, so since at the time I was pretty good friends with him I joined his EZboard DBZ RPG. After that ended I stopped rping for a good 3-4 years then found chubbs while randomly searching one day. The rest as they say...is history.

Did he play Zorn on DBZA? Because I brought in a guy I knew who came in as Zorn there, and he brought in his girlfriend who played Celipa I beleive.

Many years ago, I was searching for an online DBZ RPG (mmo style) game and came across DBZento (the RPG that started it all) and I decided to give it a try. Been doing it ever since.

I used to RP in chat rooms back when I was big on AOL, then went to Email RPing, when I met Mike, and he decided to give me VTG RPG (where I played Pan while it was in email format, then over to Launch when i switched it over to forum based. I liked playing both characters. =3), and I ran it for a few years, switching it over from Email based to forum based. Within the first year, one of our members hacked our Angelfire site, and our playerbase suffered, but I managed to get it back up again. It was a little popular, with about 40+ players at one time. Then I played on Arborwood's Vegeta's DBZ RPG (Played Pan and Bulma over the course of the game. Bulma was pretty much an NPC i dragged out when it was sagatime and I needed to write for her parts), the guy over there who played Goku made me mod within a week (That was pretty much the highest rank, besides his own =\) And he kept dissappearing, so I pretty much was in charge of it until he came in one day and decided to turn it into a Kenshin, then InuYasha RPG, then shut it down completely.

Then I played on AOL chat again, pure fantasy RPing, my character that I usually used was Aurora, pretty much comparable to...I want to say Videl, but that really isn't too acurate, but close. I'd say Violet is a little inspired from her, attitude wise.

Then I grew up, and came to Chubbs. Big Grin this is my home now, no matter what.

I started on Gametalk.com with their 'Rpg Forum' known as Echo Slayer, this was around my seventh grade year. After that I moved into their 'Jedi Sith' forum under the name Orphen and contributed to their small collection of members till I ran into Chubbs. At that same time I had developed my own Dbz Rpg I simply called "Legacy" while helping others do other types of genres (Sonic, SW, Pirate, etc.) till I decided to entirely devoted myself to Chubbs. That leads to now where I'm attempting to resurrect Legacy with new ideas opposed how it was.

My desire to become one who could fly and shoot ki blasts at morons. since it was impossible I thought, why not RP flying and shooting ki blasts at morons. Thus I did. Smile

Edit: Oh yeah, and because I eat & sleep writing.

I was scrounging the internet for a cool online game and I stumbled upon a little thing called Dragon Court. Through its chatroom, I became acquainted with online roleplaying. And the rest is history.

Started when I was eleven on a fairly good forum/chat hybrid in which I was Cell. Then that shut down and I moved to a splinter group that lasted for about a month. I took a two year or hiatus and then hopped around on several RPGs for starwars, fantasy, harry potter, ect.

Eventually I found chubbs which slowly siphoned my soul into its vast collective. Here I am now. I have tried joining a few RPGs in addition to chubbs but it never works. AD is desperately trying to kill that statistic.
