Yea, you can use swords. But as Reijin said, why use a sword when you can kill someone with your finger?

I use a sword for thing because it gives me a lot of fun ideas when writing. I think of the sword as a tool for more RPing.

Use a weapon if you wish. But just beacuse you have a weapon, doesnt mean you have an advantage. In reality, Bruce Lee was able to figth a guy with a sword with his bare hands and feet. In DBZ....well weapons mostly got destroyed rather then used. For instance, Android 18 snapped Trunks sword with ease. You can use it, but the only value it will have is RP value.

I personally would never give Jackie a weapon. He is more of a martial artist.

If you want to use a weapon, get metal binding as it allows you to fuse ki into the metal giving you weapons capable of actually hurting your opponent.
