Big Pink Computer of Awesomeness

Okay so here's the story:

I decided I needed a new computer case and a new hard drive for my existing computer. Waff said he would help me paint my new silver case pink. So we ordered everything and went to work. Now, you would think this would be a simple job, but oh no, everything that could possibly go wrong did.

First we spraypainted it and everything somehow had a pink mist on it. There was pink paint all over Waff's hands, his garage, and SOMEHOW a hint of it in his beard.

So once that was done we started putting the parts in it. We soon found out the motherboard in my old computer was custom made for the case I had, so we tried everything to make it work in my new case. We finally gave up and decided to buy a whole new one, plus a new power supply because Waff had a hunch it wouldn't fit either.

We drive to this electronic store called Fry's which is kind of far away. All the motherboards we needed were out of stock, but somehow I managed to look behind some wrapping on one and it was the last one they had of the one we needed (it was hiding). We purchase a power supply and motherboard and the woman who checked us out was new and took FIFTEEN minutes to check us out. Then we acquired a heat sync from a friend and were ready to go.

We finally get everything in and it's about 2 am. We woke up at 10 am to get our stuff from the delivery guy, and it took us all day to do some simple changes. Let's just say Waff and I will not be doing any custom computer building for awhile.

We're thinking about painting something on the side, btw. Suggestions?

My bf and I built a computer together, it was fun. I perfer black (with cool blue lights, of course). For some reason my rabbits like to sleep next to it lol.

I went back and named my computer Betty for some reason.

It actually has a blue light on the front but it's SOOO extremely blinding we HAD to disconnect it.

We were thinking about putting Hello Kitty or some other Sanrio character.

What is it with Waffs house and building computers? That's where my computer was built. With the Antec "Super LANBoy" case that I got at Fry's. And btw, Emily, your case is like the anti-hulk.

*shrug* So? I try to go by the rule of if you have nothing good to say don't say anything at all =P.

My old moniter had Hamtaro(sp) stickers all over it because I was bored and wanted it to look pretty.
