I've been wondering about something, what's your view on Japanese culture?
I find myself realizing that I've been making general assumptions of their culture, and I want to see if people have been making my same mistakes. 8)
Also, since I have your attention, why not read this Wiki article on Japanese culture? :O It's certainly informative, though I'm not sure if it's all entirely accurate.
EDIT: Oh, sorry, but I'm not being totally honest in this post. Greg was the one who pointed out the inaccurate facts in my general assumption on their culture. Thanks Greg. =o

I almost made a topic about this myself. Not to give any names, but some people (Spencer) really need to brush up on the difference between anime and real life Japan. =P

I love Japan, but real life society is borin as all heck. After hours though.. its the shiz.
Some of the most intense partying is in Japan, along with their massive quantities of affairs, and heavy drinking as to relax from their stressfull lives.
I'm still going to visit Japan though, maybe move there.

A friend of mine was in Japan, and saw two really weird things. First, she saw a store where teenage girls sell their used underwear for money, and second, a guy ran up to her friend, spooged on her, and ran away.

From what I've seen, Japan seems like pretty must the greastest place on Earth. It's like a geeks wet-dream.
I watched all through the Jonathan Ross goes to Japan series, both of them, and I loath Jonathan Ross...
Plus Japanese girls are so fricken hot. Just thought I'd throw that out there...

I had a crush on a Japanese girl in like the fourth grade. But it didn't last. I always talked about them, but I never really showed interest in them again.
Most of the asian girls I've met have all sort of acted the same. Very subservient, and I can't have a relationship like that. I'm too into debates, I couldn't stand making all the decisions.
And why do you want a Japanese boyfriend, Akane? Most girls I know that say that want to because of anime and the like, and it always seems so cliche and shallow.
