Browse the web from my DS!?

That's right! You didn't misread! Nintendo is releasing an 'Opera' browser, for the Nintendo DS. You simply purchase the game cartridge, pop it into your DS, and you have full internet browsing capabilities right on your Nintendo DS, assuming you're in compatibility range with a nearby wireless router.

Nintendo, what WON'T you do?

They sent me an email about this.

And wtf, Blue, don't be an ass. PSP has had a browser for the past year or so. And its free. You don't need to buy a cart.

Homeless people downtown have carts, and they don't buy them. They just steal them. That's free.

Do you have a wireless router? If you do, there's a category right on the DS, called "Set Up a Wireless Connection".

Configure your connection at his house, and sleep in his yard in a tent from now on.

Some are protected against the DS wireless function, though.

No no. No Sony vs. Nintendo. I just saw this a few days ago and it came to mind when I read Celi's thing.

I think what Blue is saying is, with the internet, the DS will be unstoppable.

I sold my PSP and bought the new style DS, lawl 2 DS's ftw.

The browser for the DS should be more fluid in terms of control and such though.

I haven't. I once went through a tutorial on making letters with a stylus on my sisters palm pilot. It fucking sucked.

I meant like moving about and clicking crap. And I'm sure they will have that key pad thing that pops up when you want to type something.

More fluid than what? A PSP? A phone? The Wii?

My point is that you shouldn't get too excited about this. It'll probably turn into something that no one really buys, has poor support, and isn't even close to being as convinient or cool as everyone will probably think.

The PSP obviously.

And yeah I agree but I do think a lot will buy it and use it once or twice and then not bother with it again. Like me for instance :x
