Anyone heard of it? Because it's running rampant in my county.
It's a flesh-eating disease, and they discovered an antibiotic resistant breakout of it in a nearby town. It hasn't actually reached my town, and personally, I'm not so sure it's actually going to, but it's highly contagious. In rare cases it's fatal, but no one's died yet around here. Though the people that caught it are likely to if we don't whip up a clever solution. Maybe we just need different meds that aren't antibiotics?
Just thought I'd share.

Staph infection is one of the most common infections you can get. The bacteria is usually on your skin and is the reason why Doctor's say to wash your hands and cuts if you get any otherwise it could get infected and nasty, it has a tendency to cause massive abscesses.
There are Staph bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics, it's part of a group called MRSA but the aren't immune to all antibiotics just mostly resistant and only resistant to certain types of antibiotics.
To keep yourself from getting a staph infection, make sure to shower daily and properly disinfect, clean, and bandage wounds as well as take all antibiotics properly without missing doses and completely even if you feel better.

I'm rather hygienic, so I don't have a thing to worry about, really. Except I never bandage my open wounds. xD
But I shower once or twice a day, depending on whether I have Tae Kwon Do that day, and I wash my hands frequently.

Yes it does. Long time exposure, such as Lex Luthor's small amount that he kept on him at all times, causes cancer. It is radioactive.

Well............
The truth of the matter is more complicated. At times Kryptonite causes cancer in humans, at other times it doesn't, it depends on the era you are in and which earth you are talking about. Because they often retcon what kryptonite does and how it does it.
