Started it basically to be able to try out some of the harder base designing. But of course, need more prestige. So if you're full on Justice, you're welcome to come play here.

I've been playing energy/energy blaster. It's pretty cool but I'm tired of chasing everyone down.

Plus I got a guy stuck in a wall and we had to reset to finish the mission.

Energy's tricky like that.

However, the soft control that nrg gives you is amazing for a blaster. Try playing a fire blaster and you'll notice yourself dying a lot more simply because you can't knock a guy on his ass.

Aside from getting Build Up at, like, level 6, I'm not a huge fan of /nrg for blasters.

I've also run into situations where I've had to quit a mission cause I knocked someone through a wall. You know those "stop these guys from robbing the random generic store" missions you can get from the police band? I knocked a guy through the vault that they were trying to break into. I waited around until he broke the vault, hoping I might be able to salvage the mish, but I failed instead and was immediately booted from the map.

=(

I'm not really a huge fan of any of the blaster secondaries. So I just took nrg to match my primary. It's working out pretty well actually, especially when guys walk up to fight me and I can punch them away.

I'd say /Ice is the best for blasters. It gets all the normal nonsense and then Ice Patch. What's not to love?

Yeah, Ice Patch is sweet but ice wouldn't fit with my character. =(

I kinda want to make a /invuln scrapper. It's just so shiny and cool looking.

Invuln for scrappers sucks. There's a reason no one does it.

The numbers for the Invuln set that scrappers get is like the retarded step-child of the Tanker's set. If you take and fully slot the entire set, and manage to keep 5~10 mobs around you every time you fight, then its worthwhile. But that, of course, means that you're missing out on all of the power choices and slots that you should be using or your attacks.

If you want to make an Invuln character, do it as a tank. Even Brutes get a gimped version of the set.

Omgz I love force field so much! I thought I was going to hate it because I hate buffing people but it's like the best thing ever. I made a robotics/ff mastermind and then I liked it so much I made a force field defender.

I think FF is, by far, the best "buff" powerset.

And with powers like Force Bolt, Force Bubble, Repulsion Field, and Repulsion Bomb you can do some serious controlling. Or just have fun trying to keep mobs out of range of your teammates.
