Who do ya' have to screw around here to make staff? Is it Nori?
It's Nori isn't it.
Eh... okay Nori, let's do this.
P.S Why isn't Aqua staff yet?

@Saz: Asking politely in PM is a start. As for Aqua, I'm not going to bring that up in public but if he needs a direct response to the question, he can IM me or Rad
@Tap: He's back in the capacity of a creative mod, but that's as far as it goes
@Bojack: Yes. She's back full-time.

Think of me as "popping in and offering my opinions when able". I have no problem throwing out input when I am able, but this is not expected of me so much as added input (ala Josh in the past) and if I have to dissappear, no harm to the way things run. I'm also being very careful not to pull a Jeroen and pop in trying to just change everything into my image, as I am not an Admin and thus have a lot more limitations placed upon me. Hard to explain, but yeah, its going to take a lot of adjusting time to the new PM box limit, new inability to view certain things, inability to look at unactivated members, etc.

Eh, I'm happy with the staff. You guys keep things under control and run this site pretty well. Congrats to those with higher ranks and newly added staff.

I kinda like the restructuring of Staff. It's still an obese whale, but the divy-ing up of roles is a nice touch.

I'm pretty sure that's not it, but I won't speak for Krillin.

Naw it's good to me. I mean things aren't automated anymore so more staff members are needed. No complaints here.

Actually it isn't, not if you add up the active staff members. It's never been over crowded in terms of individuals working on the boards. It works in a way that one staffer fills in for an absent staffer, thus it will never be over crowded.

Active staff members? Shouldn't all staff be extremely active. It doesn't make sense to me making people staff, who're never on. But hey...

I'm practicing for when I actually write an obscure philosophic dissertation. With any luck, I'll be just vague enough to spark intense argument amongst anyone who dares bother read it, and be the controversy of the 21st century.
More seriously, I did mean that there's a bunch of people in there. To be fair, I have no idea what the workload of Staff currently is; surely it's more than it was "in the day". Still though, we had Update-o-bots back then that pretty much covered everything (I'm thinking of folks like Uub in particular).
It just seems like 1/3rd of all members at least are Staff now. Seems a bit extreme. Again, though, I really like the hierarchy; I don't want it to seem like I'm just hopping in to trash everything.

By 'active', he meant active updaters. Not all of the staff are updaters.
