I never watched Heroes. Can anybody sum it up in a single sentence?

I've said it before, Heroes, season two totally put me off. Don't know how long it'll be before season 3 starts airing in the UK, when it does I'll probable give it a chance, but I'm not overly bothered about it.

Mainly, it's about some indian guy who's so retarded that he constantly endangers the world with his fuckups.
Oh, and there are people with powers, too. ![]()

I watched like a third of the first season and just got tired of it. Hayden in a cheer-leading outfit was what actually kept me interested for so long.

I enjoy the show. I have season one on DVD and watched season two online. I'll definitely be watching season three.

That's obviously a personality disorder just like certain people being manic depressive (Matt's a bit emo) or bi-polar (ok, Elle may not be that, but she's obviously not all there). Her power is super strength. One side of her mind accepts and uses that, the other blocks it out because it believes she's weak. This is no different from people that have one personality that seems to be a rocket scientist and the other that's a complete moron. ![]() "I'm gonna fuck that unicorrrrrn"

I think most people generally realize that. It doesn't change the fact that the way they wrote it was really stupid and boring. [spoilersomg] imgladthebitchisdead[/spoiler] ![]()

Wow.
Shouldn't have ignored that tag. =(

Reijin Wrote:Except she's technically not. Yeah. I was heartbroken when I heard about that. Shows these days seem to go out of their way to get rid of characters that I like and keep around ones that I wish would burn in a car fire. Maybe that's some sort of commentary on life, but it's one I could do without. ![]()

Didn't the plague, like, do a good job at finding people that tried to avoid it?

Nah, plagues usually affect people that live in densely populated areas. It's a pretty good analogy for shows that are broadcast on TV; only people that avidly watch it are in danger.

I realized that, Reijin. >.> I thought it was pretty obvious.
She's still my least favorite character arc, though. I just hate the actress, I guess. Or something. I just can't get into her story. ![]() Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams Telling myself its not as hard, hard, hard as it seems

Probably because you've been on Chubbs too long. Many Chubbsters (including myself) have used that archetype (ie: multiple personalities), so much so, that you become uninterested in that type of story anymore.
Or she just sucks. |
