Uncut.
As in "any and all profanity will still be conveniently translated into generic phrases like 'what are you doing there' and 'you big bully' as its a touchy subject on whether 'chikushyo' actually means 'fuck' or not. However, we'll show some blood."
I think I've heard one instance of swearing in English "uncut" DBZ, and that was Dead Zone when Chi-Chi says "What the hell do you want?"
Its odd they are removing Toonami though, but I guess they are trying to push their direction back to younger kids since the older ones watch Adult Swim and bitch about how the anime on Toonami was "butchered to hell" despite it being a fantastic way to bring good anime to America.
I'm still waiting for them to finally push a more public pure anime station (meaning one that's pushed on cable, not just direct tv and satellite).
I wouldn't say that it died though when DBZ died. There have been a lot of great shows on Toonami over the years, and I would neither call DBZ the best of the lot nor the only thing keeping it alive. There is no doubt that its the most remembered show of the older crowd, but its no more remembered than Pokemon, which is what brought a large number of people into anime. Myself included, actually, given that Pokemon and Digimon were shows I watched long before my ex-gf ever got me into watching DBZ.
Meanwhile, I'm watching an episode of the Pheonix Saga on tv right this moment.
EDIT: I can't not mention how many people entered into anime through Sailor Moon as well. And I realize Speed Racer and others had been out, but I'm talking highly followed where people were jumping on the net to search for them. PKMN, SM, and DBZ were the top three into anime.
