[Slightly Mature] An Unknown Question
#1
The fixture made for light hung down, suspending a guard of glass that evenly distributed the three kilometre a microsecond-travelling substance. The transparency was non-existent to the point that the electric generator within was hidden to that of average homo sapien optical reception. The perimeter, roughly 92 centimetres, surrounded the curved glass, with its floral design donning it. The bulb hidden within shared a view of the various items within the room to any spectator who dare start the electrical current.

The radiating light showed an intense fury within the corner of the southwest of it. The sleeping comforter filled a vacant spot. A Hawaii-patterned manufactured blanket caressed the comforter, and added a hint of zest to the otherwise bland--mostly--quarters. At the head of the bed laid a pillow, filled with dreams for serene unconsciousness. Dreams meant for staying in the land of imagination. Laying slightly dormant upon the goose-feather down cranium relaxer was him. Him being the person that everybody has either seen, known, or been. Him being the person that all did not want to see, know, or be. Him being the person ho knows the most important question. The reason that it is the most important question. The reason that it is the most important question. The reason that it can never be answered.

"Why can't I have it?" he voice broke its master's sanity, allowing rivers to flow freely. "Why am I not allowed to have this one thing?" A hazy percipitation began to cloud his vision. "It's all I want or need." His upper body lurched upward, at a very slow rate. "It really is." A drop of fear rolled down the person's cheek, resting peacefully at the jaw, waiting to endure its destiny with a simple plunge.

The person waited on the edge. Quivering. Awaiting the next step of his life. His knees straightened whilst he stood against all that had happened to him within the span of his existence.

The shelves awaiting to be coloured once again with a liquid stood partially bare. The small amount of items that were beseeched upon them took comfort to their aperture. The emptiness only magnified what was there, making the emptiness disappear.

"My life ended today," the shell of a human whispered to himself as he walked towards the boards of held-up wood. "It is all over." The young boy lunged his arm forwards, towards one of the few items. The fingers slowly closed over the small container with uncertainty. The phalanges fastened their grip as they pulled the inanimate object closer. While attempting to stop the slight shiver the hand had suddenly been induced to, the thumb placed itself underneath a development of the cap. The eyelashes came crashing down, falling victim to the paralyzed river, yielding the vision even more.

With a quick pop the childproof lock fell to the silvery carpet, rolling for a quickened second. The bottle laid in his hands. The knuckles turned white as the soul was sapping into the last of its strength. The baby blue eyes peered out onto the vastness that the hole's circumference carried. The eyes were stolen from their sockets and pulled forth into the bottle. The eyes were stolen. The soul was stolen.

"So why am I still here?!" The mouth snarled and the eyes returned to narrow in hatred. All of the muscles within the hand tightened as they were set in motion. The tendons and joints were sent signals from the brain that they were to set the arm backwards. The item was sent rolling to the fingertips as the limb whipped back through the air and sent the bottle flying. The medicine, on target with a black fold-up chair, were rattling within their container, trying to escape their prison. The pills were soon given their last wish as the cylinder made contact with black plastic.

Drugs were sprawled across the floor, the last home for them. The colour would live on forever in the soul that carried a true sense of caring

The man-hopeful began to turn his head to be aligned with the shoulders. The eyes--once so full of hope and joy--were now shimmering in the light with the loneliness and despair. A tortured and hurt soul was seen through the blurry haze.

The tears started to rain down as the person started to feel weaker than they have ever before. I just can't experience true happiness, can I?" The breathing began to become harsh and drawn out. "I have ruined my life." The tear-soaked lips began to shake violently while wide open. "Now I have to end it."

The knees began to give in. The hand outstretched themselves to hold onto the shelves, but there was not enough strength to do so. The youth toppled to the ground and was forced onto all four.

Soon enough the last ounce of strength gave out and the human being was laying upon the floor. Nearly choking upon the sobs, the person used strength that he did not know he had to lift up his head.

A resolution was set within his eyes as he gazed at the oval-shaped object. His sobs seemed to stop as his mind was set. He swallowed back all of the fears, the hopelessness, the hate, and the discern as he reached his arm forward. The delicate fingertips lightly touched the solution and all came flooding back. With a quivering hand he picked it up. The unsure hand raised the answer roughly a half a foot into the air. His eyes locked it in place, summoning the last bit of energy within, but he dropped the last solution to the ground.

"I can't do it. I just. . .can't. I can't get rid of the pain. The loneliness. The hatred, The me.

"Why. . . ."

I thought that this was slightly mature, but not sure as to our age group, so I just did that, 'kay.

If you see any grammatical mistakes, I would appreciate it if you PM me with them. Thank you.

If you have anything to say about this, I want to hear it. Whether it be questions about what he meant at parts, or the significance of somthing, okay. Comments on any part, okay. Constructful criticism would be very much helpful. I was going for a different approach to this one than I normally do, so, yea. . . . The only thing I don't want to hear is off-topic discussion or a plain "You suck," because I would prefer insight.

Thank. You. All. =)

Well I read the whole thing and I must say im preety impressed. The only complaint I really have is sometimes, it seems like the story isnt connected. But that could be just me. Otherwise, its really good.

I don't mind you being critical, just as long as it is constructful.
