Could Have Had
#1
Genre: Soft Rock/Country

Could Have Had

(Sang Slowly)
He wakes up in the night
Got his wife by his side
He's thinkin' about what could have been again
Where would he be without her love
Without the kindness of his kids?
Even with all the friends and love he has
He can't help but dreamin...thinkin...

(Chorus. Louder, Faster)
Oh, He's dreamin 'bout the life that he could have had
Where everyone loves him, but no one calls him 'Dad'
He could be famous, made a mark on the world
Had the money, the fame and the girl
No one could touch him, he'd have it all
He wouldn't have to bother with real life at allllll

(Sang Slowly)
He looks around his average room
Thinks about going to work that day
He heaves a sigh, wondering why
His life could never be what he wanted all those years before...

His wife stirs in his arms, smiling at him
He looks into her eyes, and he knows where he is
He knows he doesn't need it all, as long as he has her
His kids look up to him, and they are his mark on the world
Money doesn't matter, he has it all right here
So he lays down in his bed, and he holds his baby dear...

(Chorus. Louder, Faster)
Oh, who cares about the life that he could have had?
Where everyone loves him, but no one calls him 'Dad'
He could be famous, made a mark on the world
Had the money, the fame and the girl
No one could touch him, he'd have it all
He wouldn't have to bother with real life at allllll

Because who cares about the life that he could have had?
He has it all right here and he'll never look back
Two darling children who he can hold high
And a wife who smiles big with pride
He doesn't want it, cause he already has it all
He doesn't need the big life at alllllll

Because who cares about the life that he could have had?

That's really good. I like songs that have meaning and that has a good meaning. As I was going I could even hear the music and the words in my head, so I think it was pretty good.

I could play it in my head and enjoyed it very much. I understand where you come from this and it has a good meaning to it. Well written and well thought out.

I do, but I'm not going to sit in front of a computer and sing for you.

=p

Anyone who's known me for long can confirm I'm not big on bringing my personal self into my internet self. The furthest I've gone is a phone call with Tapion

Except for when you get crippled. o=

That's awesome, man. So you and your band just play for the heck of it, not really even any small gigs.
