First learn the very basics through a tutorial.
Then Mess around with it.
Just play around with all the different thingamajiggers and such. Its the best way to get to know it. If you try to jump into serious sig making and such right away (like me) your results wil be less than spectacular. You'll do better once you have a feel for the software.
