DB/DBZ Manga characters

I have an interesting question. As you probably know well, both Dragonball and Dragonball Z were animes and mangas. Mangas often include things that the anime serieses didn`t have. Including characters. My question is, could someone RP a character which appears in a manga, but never appears in the anime?

You would be able to, Chubbs is based off both the anime and the manga with our own rules tossed in for spice. That's why we have characters that are anime only, but also don't include some anime only situations like the Super Kaioken that Goku used in the afterlife.

Not only that, but in the case of DB, I don't think there were many Manga only characters.

Well, I didn`t say I would want to switch characters. I was just curious. But I must admit, I am a bit intruiged by the idea.

However, it is true I am asking due to a specific character. While I don`t own any of the DB or DBZ Mangas, this character can be found on the character list on My Favourite Games. His name is Tori-Bot a.k.a Akira Toriyama. Heres a picture of him, allthough its not very good. There are better pictures but they are too small.



He appears in volumes 1 and 42. Toriyama created him to represent himself in the series.

Because you are essentially asking to be Akira Toriyama, that and he exists in the manga as a Joke.

I only added the Akira Toriyama bit to show that Akira Toriyama made him to represent himself in the show. An IC Tori-bot wouldn`t have anything to do with Akira Toriyama. Also, does it matter that he exists as a joke? We can say that for quite a lot of characters from DB and DBZ.

After Rp'ing with him for almost two years, I think he's reached a dead end with Jackie. He probably feels that there's nothing else more he can do with Jackie.

At first, yes. But after talking to people about the issue, things have changed....

But that isn`t the issue here. The issue is wether someone could RP Tori-bot or not. Quite frankly, the reason stated isn`t very....good.

You can't be Tori-bot because he is a representation of Akira Toriyama, in essance it is Toriyama's RP Character. Not only that but most staff will rule against it simply to show respect to the creator of DB.
