We're playing right now on OpenRPG. We're all kinda new to this
We'll use this forum to organize things. Games, character sheets, etc etc.
It's gonna take a lot of effort to learn this but it looks like it'll be a ton of fun once we get into it. >=D

It is. Especially when really crafty minds get behind it.

Seriously, man, get Icewind Dale or Neverwinter Nights (depending on which rule set you guys decided to use) and play for 20 minutes. It'll explain soooooo much.
And the games are fun...

If you want to get hardcore into the old rules, go for Baldur's Gate. They did a good job of staying true to the source material.
EDIT: Hell, even KOTOR will give you some sense of the new rule sets.

I was talking about games that use DnD as a source...

Bladers Gate and Neverwinter Nights...
Oh Em Gee.
So much nerdy fun.
I hope Nights 2 doesn't suck
When in doubt: It was sarcasm.

Are you kidding? Nights 2 won't suck. The developers would live the rest of their lives trembling in fear of the mighty nerd mob they had enraged.
I liked Icewind Dale more than Balder's Gate, but I just prefer a more casual game 90% of the time.

=\
I have it...on computer...now. But nobody needs to know about that and I'm going to buy it ASAP. It deserves to be bought.
ANYWAY
Whenever you guys are ready, I'm ready. I am thinking about just being DM and not playing as Minsk. If somebody else wants to join I can let them be Minsk or I can kill him off or have him leave the group.
Also, when you guys are ready to play, just post here saying you are. At least 3 people need to be ready.

Yeah... honestly if you're gonna DM, don't play a PC too. It'll just end up being way too much work.
