Its like bottom of the ninth with two outs a man on third and your down by one. The coach decides to pinch hit and your Number is called. Describe the walk to the batters box, the pressure, the journey of how you got there. First person.

It doesnt have to be baseball, it could be any sport. I dont know just throwing stuff out there

Situation: A deadly virus has been accidentally released at a nearby Center for Disease Control center, and has spread across the globe within a matter of days. By some weird twist of fate, you and a few hundred other people were immune to the disease. Roleplay finding a group, rebuilding a city (Including removing the contaminated bodies, and anything else that would be dangerous/etc.) and trying to recreate a new civilization. Can you take the reigns of these people, and lead them to a new future?

"The instructions are simple: In one hour, we will return. If, by that time, neither of you have killed the other person, we will shoot you both. However, if there is only one person surviving, that person will be set free. Go."

The jailor then set down an hourglass just outside their jail cell, and watched the sand trickle down for a moment. With that, he turned on his heel, and walked away.

One: I've been throwing that idea around for years. As in, before Saw ever came out. I haven't written anything for it for fear that I wouldn't get it down as well as I have it played out in my mind.

Two: I've never seen Saw.

Three: From what I've heard of Saw, it's only got a VERY generic relation to the idea I've got, which, in itself, is also vague.

That'd be a good movie though. Best friends all through childhood, flashes of their childhood and stuff. SHow em growing up, going into the army together. Being stationed together, POW's together, and then that. Everything plays back as a flashback, as they're talking about their lives together. And at the end the guard comes and they both are sitting their, best friends till the end. get shot and die.

It's interesting, but the way I've had that story play out in my head changed throughout the years. I probably have around a hundred different variations built upon it.

But yeah. If they ever made a movie of something like that, without making it stupid with overdone Hollywood junk, it'd be a great watch.

I'm not saying it's exactly like it, just a few concepts are the same.

If you dug deep enough, you could relate any idea to any other idea. While you're at it, call this essentially an American-ized Battle Royale.

Armegedon: Roleplay the very last hour that the world has to survive before something destroys it, keep it as non-fiction as possible. Depict your feelings and actions.

A break up: Roleplay a couple breaking up over something serious.

Maybe if you had seen Saw, thought about its plot every so often, and wanted to ignore the potential for actual development of the plot relating to the timeline for death instead of just the potential death itself, then yes. This idea is similar to Saw.

Despite having a more realistic scheme.

Despite having a different "bad guy", probably with different motives, a different background.

Despite having the two cellmates know each other.

Despite having the piece actually focus on art, instead of how many gallons of fake blood can be spilt on the set.

Yeah. A lot like Saw. I mean, hell. I practically stole from that movie.

Armageddon: Two aliens (assume they speak English, just for the sake of this writing assignment) enter the Earth's orbit just as their primary spaceship hyperdrive breaks down. Because of the velocity at which they were traveling, the earth's atmosphere is decimated, and the planet is sent into a gradual "armageddon" that will effectively destroy all life in a week's time. As the humans run around on the planet in fear, the two aliens curse and debate whether or not they should help or head off for that vacation on Zoltavius IV. Write about their decision, and the outcome.

Scenerio - A stockboy has just spilled a while crate of pop in the loading bay of the supermarket he works at. He knows that his boss will be there in about five minutes, so he tried to find a way to hide his mess.

Assignment - Third-person view of the stocker trying to cover up his mess.

Rules - The boss cannot find the mess and the stocker cannot get any help, but he may ask for it.

Scenario: You have just joined Alex's DBZ RPG 5. Roleplay the events in which you decided to join there, along with conversations on AIM that ultimately lead to your demise. RP the conversation in which you are told why you were banned, and then RP how your words are changed when conveyed to the other members.

I got one.

Scenario: You're the only witness to a murder by a well-known and infamous gang. The murderer threatens your life but gives you a choice between dying or joining the gang. Roleplay the decision and the outcome. And the murder, if you're feeling particularly sadistic.

Scenario - You are the only survivor to a race known as the Krablonians. You wake up one day and find yourself on a beach.

Assignment - Act how you think one of your race should act.

Rules - You must use present tense.


Scenario - You are King Bowser Koopa. You are just celebrating your 100th birthday when those pesky plumbers, Mario and Luigi, burst through your castle doors.

Assignment - Devise a plan to defeat them once and for all.

Rules - Bowser must lose.


These are mostly stupid ideas, but I find when working on such open things, you end up elaborating and coming out with great stories. Like my Goomba one on the Workshop.
