Soybean-- Human or Sayia-Jin?

I think he's a non-transformer. All of Turles's henchmen have been called non-transformers so far, I doubt that this is an exception. However, the stupid japanese to english name switches can sometimes cause me to confuse characters.

Soybean is considered a non-transformer in regards to the powerups he uses.

I don't believe Turles's existence is ever actually explained - he's pretty much just a fantasy character. Most of his team was comprised of different aliens, as opposed to human-ish people like Soybean, so I dunno where the cloned from saiyans things comes from.

None of them were saiya-jin. If you noticed, Daizu/Soybean's hair is turquoise, which is a red flag in indicating he is not a saiya-jin, because their hair traits were exclusive to brown and black. Also, he does not have any eyebrows, and neither does Almond/Amondo. Both are most likely some kind of humanoid. And, as you can see from the rest, none of the others even remotely resemble saiya-jins. So that rumor can be put to bed.

Secondly, Turles versus Goku, since this is constantly in debate.

Typically, Turles (Tullece, Taurus) is considered a non-canonical character, which means he doesn't actually apply to the DB/Z universe. It is speculated that he is some kind of blood relative (cousin, twin brother) or clone. As a matter of fact, he is neither. The movie was simply to demonstrate a "what if," or what Goku might have become without losing his memory and living a life amongst humans. Toei themselves have stated this.

In the English dub, Turles mentions that he and Goku are from the same mold, which many interpret as being an indicator that they are somehow related. He also said things that may suggest that all low-level soldiers have the same features, and that there weren't too many of that type. As displayed in the series and a couple movies, saiya-jins pay close attention to newborns, so it wouldn't be too far of a leap to consider that their fighters are processed through a caste system. If that were the case, very similar features would be more prominent in certain caste levels versus others, like hairstyles and facial characteristics.

May I remind you, Bardock, that pure saiyans cannot change their hairstyle, as Vegeta states when he and Trunks come out of the hyperbolic time chamber in preparation for the Cell games.

If you are referring to my last sentence, I simply stated that a hairstyle like the one Goku has could be a common trait among low-level soldiers. I left out the part where I would have said something along the lines of "it's genetically pre-determined and once it grows out does not change" because I thought that was self-explanatory. So, since the low-level warrior caste may share similar genetic characteristics, they all could share similar hairstyles.

Does that clear it up?

I always assumed in a logical way that Turles was either A) A Saiyan who left his heritage behind long ago, or B) a Saiyan not raised by saiyans so doesnt know his heritage.

Simple Fact: Due to holes in the show, we have to categorize races one way or another. We will put them where we feel is the right way, no matter what some fanfiction or popular assumption says, for the sake of balance. We are not the show, and we may even have things outright different.

A logical reasoning for why they could gain the same hair style due to being in the same caste is because of breeding, which would make them relatives. It's just like natural selection, where certain traits are carried on in genetics.
