I've noticed for a while that 'Kakarot' bka Goku isn't using the 'Goku' pics from the DBZ universe(in fact I think it's a FF pic but I don't know that whole FF world so I could easily be mistaken). I'd like to know if I could use them if I ever get the chance to train with Master Roshi?

I tried asking if I could use a 'Ryu' pic as a 'artistic interpetation' but got shot down by on staff member.

Anyway...grant me your advice and rulings oh wise beautiful handsome gods that walk among us that we gracefully call staff!

You should still be asking in Artistic Interpretation.

Going off of an earlier ruling, you can use shots of Goku's face, or body shots as long as they don't show any of his orange and blue uniform. So, it's pretty much him shirtless from the waist up or headshots.

I'm not entirely comfortable with the idea, but Bardock's ruling is reasonable
