On that note, I haven't been on in the last few days since I've been busy, but I managed to finish the honor grind for my Grand Marshall's Mageblade, so now I'm working on getting new shoulder pieces through it. I FINALLY got all of my mods fixed.

No rush, but it'll be cool to play with other people. I most likely won't be creating any alts anytime soon though since I want to use the bit of time I have to actually have my Godlock geared up for when BC hits. I need to preorder it.

Well, to be honest, if you play a Mage on a pvp server, you'll hate me. 90% of the people that post on the lock forums, surprisingly, are Mages. They constantly want to inform us we are broken and explain to us how being a Lock requires no skill. We tell them to shut up and make us water. They tell us to die in a fire. We tell them that we tried, but Nether Protection kept proccing from it so we stayed immune. We then tell THEM to "DIAGF" or "Die in a GREEN fire" since we are begging for green fire in the expansion to further set us apart from mages with Fel Fire.

A lot of people are pvping for that gear, my 2 friends and I left our end game guild cuz people wouldn't show for raids. Now my friends are absorbed in BG getting warlords gear, and I've been too lazy to bother. They told me a trick though, they say it can get them 2k honor an hour, so I'm gonna try it.

Can't wait for the expansion .

lol Tim I won't hate you..I know playing a lock takes skill..half my buddies on Andorhal play locks so I know what it takes..I also listen to alot of bitching because the other half have mages lol.

I don't mind horde nor Alliance really. I'm not picky. I will say I view Horde as being genetically better for PVP, and Alliance for PVE, but aside from a few traights, I'm fine. WotF pisses me off, Bloodlust is a really nice ability for Locks right now... But otherwise, my Gnome being able to use Escape Artist is beautiful. I love trinketing in on AV for a fear bomb just to have everyone snare me hoping to stop me, and I just EA my way out of it and keep going, making it barely into the room to pop iHoT and wipe the pull. Fucking exploiters.

I only have my one character right now to play, and that's my Gnome Lock.

Good, b/c if anyone makes a horde character there, I'm going to be asking you to be a messanger to a few select individuals that loved to camp me for 20 f'ing levels. I've been hunting a rogue named Jaka down ever since he began camping me from level 20-32, where he stayed 43 the entire time. At 32 I effectively went to an entirely different area and when I came back I have not seen him since. I FINALLY ran into him the other day, me at 60, him about about 46 or so, but we were in Ratchet which is horde aligned so he runs up and spams emotes on me as usual with /kiss, /spit, /lick, wash rinse repeat. I cannot WAIT to find him in a neutral zone, b/c when I do, I'll have my dick so far up his ass for so long a time that he will think that we are gay buddies.

That rogue could have used Cloak of Shadows to deal with it, he could have Vanished from the fight and never reappeared while the lock was there, he could have even just simply hearthed in the middle of the fight, I mean dots aren't going to lock you out of casting through interrupts. There are so many obvious things wrong with that video, it HAD to be rigged or something. Let's even point out that the rogue was a dumbass for chasing him all that time. Let's finally point out that if there was that much of a level difference, that Rogue should have been resisting half of those casts.

And finally finally finally... The rogue obviously should have gotten the first hit in from stealth, I mean, the Lock had his VW out so no stealth detection other than Perception, which would give him time to go "oh shit" so... How the hell did that rogue "ambush him" like he said, and he live through the stunlock, much less the leaving stealth high dmg attacks? I'm sorry, that was either an ebayed rogue that was logging on for the first time, or fake in some form. I'm saying this from personal experience, it WON'T happen. In fact, there is a threat right now where some lowbie lock is trying to claim something similar, and I and everyone else are calling BS on him as well.

Fear dotting to death is sorta a myth as well. Fear has this thing called diminishing returns, meaning you build immunity to it. I fear you once, you get 12 seconds max, IF I don't do any dmg to you. The slightest hit, as you'll read in that thread, from a Shadowbolt or something, will usually break it. So I fear you a second time. It lowers to like 6 seconds or something max, again chancing a break. The next one will be about 4 seconds tops, and after that you are literally immune to my fear. It sucks You can kite around with Curse of Exhaustion though, which the lock in the vid above was not doing. Despite him being Affliction spec.

Maybe I was unclear I meant that I can't wait to chain fear...which I was told you can do..but obviously can't =/ either way I've never played a lock so I would not know. I only have a Human Pally and a Human Mage that is now close to 45 on andorhal.

Not saying you can't get enough fear effects to net you a win. But there is a myth that I can essentially do "dot dot dot fear dot dot dot fear dot dot dot fear dot dot dot fear dot dot dot fear dot dot dot fear" until you are dead, which isn't true.

Dotting gets its reputation for killing people after they've killed the lock or during long durations in battle. Fear breaks after a short while of dot damage, or at least I believe it does. It's done that since a patch awhile back.

Oh, I know that, its just a constant "proof that locks are broken" thing that gets done alot. On the same note, one could post "World of Roguecraft" as proof of how evil Rogues are, but we all know it doesn't always happen that way haha.
