There's some cheating method that you can use to get the XP bonus from infinite pupils. Go to the MyBrute section of wikia.

Doesn't work.
Once you get past 3-5 pupils, it seems to stop giving you exp just for attaining pupils in the first place. Unless I fucked up my brute by making like 4 pupils from the jump. The only thing that gives experience now is reaching level 3.

Yeah, join tournaments if you want. You get no XP for it, but you can still participate in Arena fights without interruption. The match-ups are completely random and the only reward is making it to certain levels of the tournament which you get a title and a ranking for, so it's solely for bragging rights. Each title has its own ranking, from the 1st ranked brute of that title down to the bottom ranked. K Sasaki is my only brute to be ranked, currently just made it to position #9000 of the Sticky Plaster Rippers, which is up from the original ranking of about 10,500 and something.
Personally, my favorite part is just watching the replays and seeing how well the brute does against stronger opponents. That why I can see what they lose to without risking my precious 3 daily Arena fights. But, tournament replays only last for a matter of hours while the Arena replays last for days or weeks, possibly even months.
