Anyway, Annihilate is intense, and that guy will absolutely end the game real damned fast.
Well, I can't wait to see the other Eldrazi. Notice that this guy has an "on cast" effect. Meaning that this triggers the moment he hits the stack. That means that even if he is countered, you draw those cards before he even would possibly resolve. That's immediate card advantage.
Also, of note, Demonic Tutor is only legal in one tournament format (keeping in mind non-tourney formats like different multiplayer ones, though the second thing I'm going to say will still hold true), and that is Vintage, aka Type 1. This is the format that has Power 9 and other badassery as legal and, just like those, Demonic Tutor is restricted to one copy per deck. So in Legacy and other formats, people use Beseech the Queen or Diabolic Tutor instead, which are not restricted (ignoring the fact that Demonic is banned in Legacy and every other format). So really, there's no point in owning more than one.
I bought four like ten years ago thinking "HELL YES, AWESOME CARD, CHEAP PRICE OF FIVE BUCKS EACH!" Years later, I'm sitting on more than four and going "...wtf do I do with these?"
Then they reprint it in the Divine vs Demonic (which I thought was a cool idea, btw) and that gave me even one more, but the art is interesting.
