First time I ran into an Ice Troll, I hit it once and then noticed I had to put on my glasses in order to notice the damage. So I ran back to a nearby village where the ice troll took two guards and a civ (who went in 1 by 1 for some reason) before dying. I reloaded because I felt bad. D:

I found the museum guy, the reward for that quest chain is pretty imbalanced. For the curious:
[spoiler]It's a dagger with "meh" damage but an enchantment to have a chance to instant kill.[/spoiler]
