Yeah. One of the things I want to do with my big green mana creature is have some sweet green multi-kicking going on. I want to maybe have a bunch of elves, Strength of the Tajuru and Joraga Warcaller.

I could either use strength of the Tajuru to put shitloads of counters on Joraga, which boosts my other elves but may leave my team vulnerable if Joraga dies, or i could spread the counters out amongst my elves. It would depend on how much mana I had stored up. It could be really sweet.

EDIT: I would also throw my Garruk in there, to untap lands and retap them to add mana to my stockpile.

I really like Strength of the Tajuru.

Saved me more than once. Being able to drop 3 or 4 counters on three or four creatures is pretty intense.

Canopy Cover is the shitty Whispersilk Cloak though.

It still works, and is way better than just shroud.

I actually have a Whispersilk Cloak. I'll definitely put it in my Green deck.

I just made some changes to my GB deck, which mostly involved cutting the size down by 12 cards, and I'll probably be taking my B deck apart and just switching stuff around with the Liliana precon deck.

I'll gladly trade you my Omnath, Chandra Ablaze, Comet Storm (promo), two Wrexial, and certain other mythics that I always seem to pull for that god damn Baneslayer. Almost forgot to mention Persecutors and Lorthos. Not to mention how every time I open a M10 booster I'm like "FUCK YEAH MYTHIC, BANESLA- sigh, no, the mythic is another fucking Feral Hydra."

Yeah, I didn't think you would either.

I can't wait for my playset of Jace TMS to get here so I can trade that fifth one. Possibly trade IT for a Baneslayer. Since it took so long, they refunded my shipping too, which wasn't exactly what I was intending but I've no complaints.

Wait...where did you buy a full playset of Jace? Prices I'm seeing would put a full playset at about $200.

Or are you just being facetious?

I saw them plummet on ebay to about 35-40 each sometime two weeks ago. I grabbed my credit card, against better judgement, and bought a playset for a low BIN price. By then, it was back at 158, but I'm still ok with that.

EDIT: The ironic part is how the day after I ordered this, I pop a single pack with some friends and had Jace in it. Then during the prerelease for WWK for MTGO, I got Jace online in my sealed pool. And now I'm doing a booster draft as I type this and got a Jace in the first pack. I can't make this shit up.

Have never popped an Angel though.

However, that aside, I have absolutely no complaints to this. By all means, I hope he goes back up in value. And he will, given the UW control deck that just became popular. Here's hoping for 100 each.

Yeah, I've kind of been wanting to pull one of those.

It does virtually nothing right now. You could pull artifacts, but I don't think that's the point.

I forgot to mention, click the actual diamond in the image. Forgot about the first image there.

EDIT: And you can't get artifacts, as there are no artifacts with the Eldrazi creature types. The closest you can get is a Changeling out with Mycosynth Lattice.

"Search your library for a colorless creature card, reveal it and put it into your hand. Then shuffle your library."

EDIT: Yeah, ok, that creature is absolutely ridiculous. It's not like it's that hard to drop the ten mana needed to play it, nor the seven to find it with the Eye.

Anyway, click the image.

"Search your library for ________ and put it _______." So aptly named for things like Demonic Tutor, Diabolic Tutor, Enlightened Tutor, Mystical Tutor, Worldly Tutor, etc.

EDIT: Kozilek, Butcher of Truth. Looks rough.

Ah, gotcha. I'm so glad they don't print Demonic Tutor. My brother has a vice grip on the only two we have between us. For good reason.

=(

Anyway, Annihilate is intense, and that guy will absolutely end the game real damned fast.

Well, I can't wait to see the other Eldrazi. Notice that this guy has an "on cast" effect. Meaning that this triggers the moment he hits the stack. That means that even if he is countered, you draw those cards before he even would possibly resolve. That's immediate card advantage.

Also, of note, Demonic Tutor is only legal in one tournament format (keeping in mind non-tourney formats like different multiplayer ones, though the second thing I'm going to say will still hold true), and that is Vintage, aka Type 1. This is the format that has Power 9 and other badassery as legal and, just like those, Demonic Tutor is restricted to one copy per deck. So in Legacy and other formats, people use Beseech the Queen or Diabolic Tutor instead, which are not restricted (ignoring the fact that Demonic is banned in Legacy and every other format). So really, there's no point in owning more than one.

I bought four like ten years ago thinking "HELL YES, AWESOME CARD, CHEAP PRICE OF FIVE BUCKS EACH!" Years later, I'm sitting on more than four and going "...wtf do I do with these?"

Then they reprint it in the Divine vs Demonic (which I thought was a cool idea, btw) and that gave me even one more, but the art is interesting.

And even if it is countered, that's just going to put your whole graveyard back into your library.

We definitely don't play by any format standards. I would say 99% of our decks are illegal in just about any format.
