(Alright, since Murasaki?s not online and Violet gave me the go-ahead, I?m just going to pull the ideas together as best I can. This is mainly based on my system, because it?s the one I know best and it was the one closest to completion. I?ll be bringing in ideas from all three people, however. I?ve taken your suggestions into account and changed the stat deductions to include only number of custom characters in a race (before, it took into account the total number in that race, including non-customs).)
Custom Characters
Though Chubbs is primarily based on the characters and universe of Dragonball Z, we?ve seen an increasing number of people wanting to create custom characters. We like to see creativity and innovation, and thus, we?ve created a custom character system that encourages it.To become a custom character, you have to have been on Chubbs for at least a few months - the total figure is dependant on the race you want to switch to, as you?ll see. As with all character switches, you will have to take a penalty of -25 to all stats. If you?re switching to a race already part of the Dragonball universe, the following rule also applies:
For every custom character already in your race category, you lose an additional -5 from all stats. This is to encourage creativity, and not have everyone a single race.
If you are creating your own custom race to base your character off of, the following must also be taken into account:
- It must be a humanoid race.
- You cannot start with any unique abilities to your race that fall outside best moves. Regeneration is for Namekian customs only.
- If your character?s background entails a home planet that isn?t on the current list of planets, you can discuss its existence in your roleplays, but never actually go there.
Applying for a Custom Character
To apply for a custom character, you first have to hit the stat requirements as above. If your stats fall below the default starting stats, you aren?t allowed a custom. This is to ensure that people stay on the site for at least a few months to prove themselves worthy.If you fulfil these requirements, then you are allowed to submit an application to switch to a custom. A 1000-word roleplaying sample with the character is required, as well as a fleshed-out History and Appearance. This is especially important for self-created races.
If staff accept your application, then congratulations - you now have a custom character to call your own.

Murasaki; I am disappointed. I don't really feel like you really contributed too much. I know you posted and schtuff, and that this wasn't the easiest task, but all you really contributed was that people should flesh out a history. Unless you do really good in the next one, you are gone.

You have to point out a flaw about the person above you that weaken them as a staff member. People form otehr teams can join, too.

On an unrelated note, how much longer 'til the personal tasks are up? I'm going away at the end of 8th July for a week, and I certainly don't want to be working on my birthday.

Well, I'm supposed to wait until all the groups are done. *cough*Rad.*cough But I'm leaving on the seventh myself, so I am going to start them today so that it can end on the sixth. You might still have to get on for furtehr rounds during that week, though. =X
