Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Old Dave - 01-11-2006 Oh yes SKK please. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Kaden - 01-11-2006 We haven't allowed this in the past to keep the rare techs (ie. fusion) from become common. I don't think it would be an entirely bad idea to list whether a technique can be taught to one member by another, though. Having said that, that list would probably pretty limited. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Broli - 01-11-2006 Wasn't the call made a while back that characters could already do any move (such as Special Beam Cannon), but that the specific moves they chose from are just their best moves performed most efficiently? Unless things have changed, teaching moves to other people is theoretically unnecessary. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Old Dave - 01-11-2006 I think Violet was leaning more on the tech part of the site like metalbinding, healing, ect. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Rem-13 - 01-11-2006 I thought that ruling was changed not implimented. Because its retarded mostly. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Broli - 01-11-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Violet Edit: GJ, it really doesn't matter either way. When the time comes to roleplay some huge attack, 99% of the time they'll use one of their specifically selected moves, if they use a move at all. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Old Dave - 01-11-2006 I missed that, my mistake, then no there has been no change in the rules as far as I know Broli, anyone can pretty much learn moves like Special Beam Cannon and Kamehameha by gaining 50 TP worth of INT. EDIT: So there is no point in having someone teach a best move unless it is completely custom in nature. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Kazuya - 01-11-2006 Ok, fine. What about special techs? Unique moves that a player has and that player can teach it to a person, but that person cannot teach it to others. If other player's want to learn, they go to the source. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Broli - 01-11-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Raditzu Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Rem-13 - 01-11-2006 Didn't Burter choose one of Bra's attacks for a new best move because the fought ot gether so much? Yeah, I think so. So with best moves its already possible. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Sage - 01-11-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Garlic Jr Mmhmm. I also stole one of his moves. ^_^ It is completely possible for, say, Rad to teach somebody Burn Knuckle or something, but that 'somebody' would still need the 50 intelligence points in order to be able to actually 'learn' the move. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Kaden - 01-11-2006 You all better love us. A lot. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Ashe - 01-11-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Raditzu Btw, Bra, I wouldn't mind you teaching Reijin the Kienzan Daggers so he can have a Modification to his Dual Ki Swords move Give him a secondary style to use.
Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Super Buu - 01-11-2006 Basically if something's been given or allowed OOC, you can roleplay getting it however you like IC. Like Bra said, people can share best moves, but only if that person had 50 unused int. And if someone gets given say, Body Split in a saga, and it's not been explained IC, you could roleplay your friend who already has the technique teaching it to you. Either way, the work has to be put in
Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Super Buu - 01-11-2006 I know you don't have to, but it's an option if you want some 'IC' way of learning it other than just developing it someday. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Hellfighter 17 - 01-15-2006 That sounds like the best moves system. o.O Where members are free to teach their moves if they want. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Vegeta Jr - 01-15-2006 Quote:Originally posted by BojackYeah.. we already got that.
Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Vegeta Jr - 01-15-2006 Quote:Originally posted by Majin BuuActually.. Its good form to roleplay getting your technique or best move. If you dont do it.. I hereby announce you as a lousy roleplayer. <3 Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Hellfighter 17 - 01-16-2006 People can create and teach best moves. If a member has a technique and another member has earned that same technique, the learned member can teach the other. I don't think we'd have it so you can create techniques like teleportation, you have best moves. Public Inquiry (All Members Read!) - Super Buu - 01-16-2006 There's already Super Saibamen and Saibashards. I suppose the admins could use that idea if they wanted to stretch it further, but I'd say the saibamen have already been stretched pretty far ![]() Some more movement from the RRA would be cool though, or a RR shop like you described. |
