I use him whenever I feel like ignoring locked chests. Star...whatever, I can't remember atm is awesome with him. I have him spec'd as a berserker because I didn't know about Oghren yet. Shoulda made him a reaver for variety's sake but he's pretty good imo, and with Shale tanking, someone needs to wear the Dragonbone Armor

My usual is Alistair, Shale and Lelianna. For tougher fights I switch out Leli for Wynne to heal.

My main dude is basically a god at this point, I'm considering turning the difficulty up to nightmare since I tore through the Carta base without even breaking a sweat. I made Leliana into a ranger and the added DPS of the pet is soooo worth it. Though maybe I'm just going through some easy patches since only a few levels ago I was getting my ass handed to me in Morrigan's quest. We shall see.

[spoiler]Eh, fighting Flemeth is a little different than clearing packs of dwarves. Those fights for me were mostly endurance battles on my mage. Sten would inevitably die when Wynne ran out of mana, then she would die, and it would be me using Dark Sustenance to fuel my heals while still dpsing. Not sure how I'm going to as a rogue shy of simply taking over Wynne and teaching her mana efficiency[/spoiler]

I put it up to nightmare expecting to have my ass kicked, but apparently not. Either this party setup is just unstoppable, or they just left all the pussy darkspawn in the Deep Roads.
I had an awesome graphical glitch in the tower, Alastair and Tower Guard fused to finish off the ogre. Somehow they both got the deathblow animation simultaneously, so it looked like a single character flickering back and forth between the two appearances until they jumped off in different directions and 'separated'.

It does seem a bit easy peasy, but there's still some really tough parts, though. Doesn't bother me either way, however.

It seems like the game's really hard fights are the ones optional, so if you just roll through you probably wont get that much of a difficulty.

[spoiler]Fucking Broodmother. srsly!! All of us died (except Al, obv) and she still had around 1/4 health, so in between hacking at her and spamming my health poultices, I -finally- managed to take her down just as Alistair was about to be killed. I have no health poultices left, and since I've got like eight million injury kits (srsly how bad do you have to be that people get incapped so often that they're that important?), it was no big deal. But now I'm in the Anvil of the Void - where I quit for now, and I'm banking on it that I'll find something equally horrible there, and with no health to help me, we're all gonna get tentacle raped by Broodmother's evil twin sister. ...God, that thing's disgusting. Seeing her die was so totally gratifying.[/spoiler]
I really like this game, but sometimes I hate it. XD
