Dragon Age! - Super Buu - 11-11-2009

Because it needs its own thread.

Thirding the 'arcane warrior owns' thing. I no longer miss my old warrior, because my new warrior has fucking force lightning.

Dragon Age! - Tyr - 11-11-2009

Best part? You can get two specialization if you reach level 14.

BLOOD ARCANE MAGE WARRIOR. RWAR.

Dragon Age! - Jesper - 11-11-2009

Can't get that specialization this playthrough. ='/

Duelist is pretty cool, though.

Dragon Age! - Kaden - 11-11-2009

How do people feel about Templars? Would their anti-magic setup be worth speccing for? It sounds cool, but will be absolutely worthless if there's just not that much magic to... anti.

Dragon Age! - Victoria - 11-11-2009

I don't find the templar that enticing, i think i might go with something more bloody and massacre-ish.

Dragon Age! - Sage - 11-11-2009

My mage has shapeshifting as a specialty. Which sucks. It was the only one available at the time and the game made me take it.

I learned it from Morrigan super early, right? I hope that doesn't wreck stuff, because shapeshifting kind of sucks.

Dragon Age! - Vad - 11-11-2009

Oh just as an FYI. You can unlock a Specialization, reload before you did, and it will remained unlocked. Or that's what I've been reading.

Dragon Age! - Tyr - 11-11-2009

Specialization unlocks are global and therefore you are correct.

Dragon Age! - Vad - 11-11-2009

Oh. Word to the wise. Don't delete the folders in the BioWare/Dragon Age folder in your My Documents or Documents area. I moved character and deleted everything to fix a settings malfunction and lost all of my specialization unlocks. No fucking clue how it happened...I looked for the file that did it...

Sad to say I am now pissed at the game.

Dragon Age! - Jesper - 11-12-2009

Flemeth = bitch to kill.

Just fyi.

Dragon Age! - Vad - 11-12-2009

Isn't that a spoiler?

Dragon Age! - Jesper - 11-12-2009

It shouldn't be. If it is, it's been spoiled in every video I've seen about it.

Dragon Age! - Vad - 11-12-2009

Oh. Considering it's optional...I figured it to be a spoiler.

Dragon Age! - Jesper - 11-12-2009

If you think it's a spoiler, then edit my post. I won't stop you.

Dragon Age! - Vad - 11-12-2009

Eh. If it's videos, I'll take your word for it. I wasn't really thinking that through. There are far worse things to reveal.

Dragon Age! - Kaden - 11-12-2009

I'm assuming that's someone you run into who ends up being bad.

That mechanic hasn't been surprising since... ever?

Dragon Age! - Vad - 11-12-2009

How far are you, Kaden? In terms of completed quests.

Dragon Age! - Kaden - 11-12-2009

I got the stuff for the... uh... Joining? I think that's what it's called.

Really really not very far at all.

Dragon Age! - Vad - 11-12-2009

Okay, cool.

Dragon Age! - Super Buu - 11-12-2009

@Sage: you don't have to take your specializations at level 7 and 14, that's just when you get the points to take them if you wish. I was gonna take Shapeshifter originally for my mage but yeah, in-game it pretty much sucks =(

On a related note, I hate how in the console version you can't save up talent points without also having to leave your stat points unspent.
