Regardless of whatever reason the decision was made, we came to a group decision during Development as a memberbase to not feel the need for such an inclusion.

I had an idea! Why not implement a temporary disability system for say a saga?

Why not just let players decide what their own flaws are.
There's only one character I've read so far who doesn't appear to have some kind of negative physical or character flaw. ![]()

But yeah, I'm with most of the people here. Character flaws shouldn't be picked up just for arbitrary rewards, they should be pretty standard on any and every character. That'd be like rewarding people for having NPCs or for having... I don't know, names. By having flaws, you get to roleplay those flaws, and that makes your roleplays more interesting and involving. Bigger, better RPs = More XP. That's all the compensation I really need. ![]()

I'm actually developing a personality for Trixum's as if she was a character. She'll be limited because she is an NPC in the eyes of the Staff. But I am strictly adhering to her abilities capping at Vad's maximum, besides her telepathic ability. She's as strong as Vad is. Flat line. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

It doesn't even have to be some major issue. Minor flaws make characters interesting too.
Reijin couldn't write his own name with a pencil. I don't know about you, but given how well trained in was in so many fields, I found such a humbling maneuver to be pretty damned entertaining.

But as Ive mentioned time and time again...is the KI one that I slammed into him right off the bat. No KI use, other than Flight. Plus, an early one was his anger. Since I had clue about the XP system, I was going to give him an anger issue and just basically say, "Fuck SSJ" He has the anger issue, but it's only extremely visible in combat when he's getting thrown around. And as he gets angry, he increases his Potential as I call it. Removing the Ki control cloak on his energy and bringing himself to 100%. As he does, his mind coupled with Trixie, unlocks more and more of his MAS, allowing cleaner thoughts and maneuvers. [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
