Virginia Tech shooting

The best thing we can do is remember this and take it in account of how we treat people we meet, whether it be at college or at the local car wash. Treat people with respect.

They said he wrote a note or something about hating women and stuff, probably because he overheard a few comments people made about him. One person admitted that she and a few others joked about him probably coming and shooting up a school or something since he was so quiet.

Oh well...I hope I'm not a prayer type of person but I've got the victim's family in my thoughts.

I just read on CAD that Jack Thompson is once again blaming this entire thing on video games. Does this asshole really think "the kid played video games 24/7" and that's the entire reason he snapped? Couldn't be that he might have been fucked with or had a bad life, but was completely b/c he was obviously a testosterone addicted Tekken player? This asshole is to me just as bad as all of the people that do these things, b/c in the most sensitive of moments when everyone wants to focus on helping the weeping, he wants to take advantage of it and people's weaknesses to further push his little crusade.

I'm mostly wondering why the campus was left open after the first shooting.

The guy was still on the loose and they went "business as usual", the first shooting should've canceled classes and thrown the campus into a lockdown. Police should've been searching the campus for this guy in those two hours after the first shooting. As it appears now I would say that the response was a complete failure.

Yeah, this really shocked me. At least it wasn't a white person. I'm tired of white people being the stereotypical school-shooter and all. Asian. Take that black people. Switch up your stereotypes on us. Now. Yeah. Now.

He was Asian. ASIAN, not black. Say it with me.

What he's trying to say, is that black people can't say white people are always the killers

I don't know about a lockdown, though that seems easy to say in hind sight. I think if I was administration there I would have alerted both faculty and security. That school has over 20,000 students. Going in to lockdown is easier said than done.

Aqua beat me to it. Hindsight is 20/20.

When I said "Jeice was talking about justice" I meant the following quote:

You know what also sucks...he killed himself, so no type of justice can realy be done, I mean if I were the parent of one of those victims I would personaly kill the person responsible. Even if that meant me going to jail. Maybe that sounds a little...however you would like to put it, but its how I feel about the matter.

That's not vengeful. His later post was, but I wasn't talking about that.

Cutting off someone's legs, then setting their house on fire and watching them drag their bloody stumps out isn't justice. That's vengeance.

Who said that would be justice? o.0

When I heard about it, this was all apparently something to do with the fact his girlfriend had been cheating. So really, the logical thing to do would be to kill her, of course.

C'mon, you swing your fists, it's over in a minute. There really wasn't any need for so much killing.

My father has an interesting theory. It is:

The asian, who was apparently S. Korean was a mole, actually working with N. Korea.

My father is paranoid, but he got really in-depth, essentially saying that it was some type of terrorist action.
