Big Grin Not really. I missed out on that phase, unfortunately.

She just works at the library... and the floor she works on is business/technology reference type material. I doubt she sits around on her lunch break reading that shit. >.<

Gtfo with your flowers. I'm just going to talk to her.

WOAH THERE!!!!!!!
Did you forget the advice that Pigero gave you???

Edit: Once more, just do something or you'll end up regretting it for like....an entire fuckin' WEEK. That means like....no girls for ONE WHOLE WEEK. FTW!?

You don't sound like a jackass or anything over the internet. Just make her laugh. If she ever has a friend there, bring one of your own friends (like you have any), so conversation doesn't get too stale (cos it sounds lke you're a generally shy person).

Bottom line is, if she rejects you, no biggie. You never actually need to see her ever again (assuming you choose not to go to the library, and even if you do, it's just a part-time job and she'll be gone soon enough).

And like most people said, just ask her out somewhere. Raditz said a food joint, which I never do personally cos it's way cliche....but if you want to avoid spending cash just walk around with them for a little while. Movies work as well. Get creative.

Edit Edit: Oh yeah, and LET HER TOUCH YOUR PENIS!!!

I'm pretty sure cliché doesn't matter when it comes to asking someone out for the first time.

Girls generally want originality in character (show that you're not just interested in the boulders hanging roughly six inches below their face), conduct (be polite. She'll expect you to open doors and such for her, but if you're walking down the street, walk on streetside, and other such rules of etiquette. Don't be a nazi by them, but do show consideration), and conversation (Stay away from talking about the weather just because it's stereotyped. Talk about anything and everything, particularly things that interest her. Don't lie to her about what interests you, however, as things could get potentially awkward if this relationship actually goes for the long-run).

Be original, and let your instincts take control. Not entirely though. You never want to say something offensive, at least not during the first 3 or four conversations. While you're talking to her, you'll most likely realize if she is diggin' you, from interest in the conversation or flirtatious comments. From there make your move with some flirtatious comments or something. After a few of them, take her off her feet with something romantic, or smooth. Then ask for a number.

If she says she has a bf, but you think she likes you, say something like: "Well, I'd still like to know more about you." or something like that.

Once you get her number, don't get too happy. Never call the first day. I'm not a fan on the 72 hour rule, because I usually call when I have time or feel the time's right, but never the first day.

You can also give her your number too. If she accepts it, then you've seemed to catch her interest. If she calls you, even better. That means she's really diggin' you.

From there just talk casual conversation for a while, unless she brings up sex and all. If she does, don't be all scared. Talk about it. After maybe 2 or 3 days of talking over the phone then you can ask what she's doing another day; do the date thing. Yada, yada.
