Ah, okay, didn't know the name when I was typing that up.

I wonder if there's enough reason to create combo tech rules. Like sharing point cost between all parties. /waggles eyebrows

Heat of Battle:

As Vad fights and sustains injury or exerts himself fighting, his hereditary short temper begins to take control of his mind. As the fight progresses his concentration will increase, the range in which he can sense opponents via Tactics increasees by 15 feet. The metal produced by metallurgy gains density and hits harder and more effectively than it's steel counterpart. The shields formed by Metal Defense become thicker and more resilient from the previous boost and can be made within miliseconds of an attack if it is sensed accurately.

Telekinetic Metal Control:

With the use of his telekinesis, Vad can control metal objects around him of any size with his mind. He can bend them, melt them, and manipulate them for his purpose through his mind. This removes the need to have a physical connection to said Metal.

Metal Hailstorm:

By creating a a large amount of small jagged orbs of metal Vad can swirl them around him making it hard for someone to hit him. Each orb is attuned to his mind via telekinesis and will follow him around swirling rapidly in a cone. Vad can direct the flow and intensity, as well as size of these orbs.

I tracked down 39 moves that Retane once used... Be it Regular and Combo moves...

And I need to know which ones are... Do-Able.. and what the prequisites needed for them would be...

I need to know so I can determine the path I want to send Maleficus down and which moves I could have him inherit...

1. Solar Blast- It starts out as a simple orb tossed into the air. When it explodes, everyone looking in its direction is temprorily blinded by the sun like rays.

2. Phosphorus Bomb- This is a rather unique attack created by Retane after deserting planet Namek for his first time. Finding hisrace pitiful as they seemed to care for for the living then adventure, Retane created attack souly for the purpose of the destruction of oxygen, there for also the destruction of life. Though, he never coiuld fully perfect it. The attack itsself is encased in a simple orb of ki and is unleashed only after the ki-seal is broken by contact or detonation. Once the seal is broken and the real attack is unleashed the oxygen within the attacks grasp is burned on contact. The down fall is using the attack to much can really take it's toll on Retane, and a simple blast could destroy the Phosphorus Bomb causing nothing more then smoke in the air.

3. Hell's Leash- Retane throws out his arms and long black coils form from his palms, three coils per hand. The long 'chains' are whipped around like weapons, lashing his opponents. The black coils attack at a long melee distance, but strike with the force of energy attacks. If a direct hit is successful, and the target is close enough, the coils can temporarily wrap around a section of the opponent and hold it (ie- an arm, so it can't block, etc.), making areas of the body vulnerable to attack from the other coils.

4. Windstorm- Retane places one arm across his chest and the other in front of him. He rolls them over each other in a 360 roll and creates what seems like wind whilring around his forearms. This attack can be either shot, at the foe, which the winds are razor sharp(Like Pikkons Hyper tornado), or used to propel other attacks from the arms into faster speeds.

5. Unknown- After much training Retane can create KI attacks that appear out of thin air anywhere he chooses around the area he is in. This is a great move to send a move such as Demise and other such moves at his opponent without them suspecting a thing.

6. Gray Assault- The mercenary cups his hands out in front of him and a small gray mass forms, taking shape of skull between his fingers. As the blast is released the namek can allow the blast to vary in size by expanding it to consume a large area, or concentrate on a acute spot.

7. Judgement(Curse of the Reaper)- Retane is now the God of Death. Retane has learned ‘Judgment’. As the official Death Dealer of the planet his Ki Sense extends into the afterlife now to keep tabs on the signatures of those he has killed or even encountered. As an added bonus to this, Retane can see and communicate with the lost wondering souls that rest in the material world.

8. When Darkness Falls- The mercenary has control of a darkside that allows him to simply create darkness from shades of night to pure pitch black. As well he can createsolid black duoble mirrored walls that can allow one to se inard of outward... but it all depends on the Reaper.(Retane mastered the ability to control darkness and can now create a blanket of darkness that can cover a certain ammount of distance covering the ground and sky.


9. Soul Reaper- The Reaper taps into the other dimension and calls forth a densien in the form of a scythe. The blade is known to take a solid or transparent form, able to seemingly go through the foe, sending spasms and chills throughout his foe with every strike.

10. Web Seal- The mercenary slams a fist into the ground, creating a web like outline along the ground. Those caught within the spread of the outline are stuck until they overpower the entrapment or the energywithin weakens. If Retane is within the web as well, he can exert energy through the grounded web and cause the foe to mimic his very actions.

11. Rigamortis- The reaper's hand emits a crimson aura as he beckons forth the power of the dead. He can release a crimson orb, or touch the foe physically with the hand, and the appendage touched by the red energy stiffens until it can no longer move. The time it takes for the effects to weaken depends on the concentration of energy and the power of the foe.

12. Shadow Strike: Retane can send shadow appearances of himself at an enemy. Each clone performs one move, be it a simple punch to a complicated blast. After completeing their movement, they disperse into thin air. If the replica is struck, though, it puffs in a cloud of smoke.

13. Feind Shackles- Spawning from Hells Leash, the mercenary has developed another duo-fensive maneuver. Using either the chains or the palms of his hands(glowing similar to creation of Hells Leash), the warrior can create shackles about his target on contact. Though temporary, these bands can last through a fight and then some,pending the situation. Retane uses Hells Leash to latch onto the shackles and bind them together. Though the chains linking the bands are weaker then the actual cuff, they can be a nuisance until you bust free.

14. Mirrored Strings- When the namekian flesh, touches another, he can sometimes detach very thin strings upon his foe. With these strings, the mercenary can transfer the pain he feels from his foe, back into his foe.

15. Crucifixtion- The warrior produces a curved bow made of ki, along with arrows. His sights invision a cross behind his foe and four swift shots are fired at the foe so that he finds him self stuck to a cross that he cannot see, and as the doe is stuck the assassin looses a fifth arrow hitting their skull, sending them back in pain.(Note arrows are made of Ki)

16. Acid- Disgaceful, yet tactful. The warrior spits in the face of his foe, thus causing loss of direction and senses temporarily.

17. Hologram- Simplistic enough, the namekian can use a little bit of his chakra to emit holograms.

18. Solidify- Adding a bit more energy to the holograms, make them solid. Though a simple hit that is a bit stronger then a meager human can destroy one.

19. Hemorage- The renegade taps into his mind and unleahes the berserker mode of himeself. He feels no pain or any damage. The only issue is he knows only one objective, and knows not when to flee.

20. Sonic flare- The warrior's fists emit a clear aura and when they strike a foe, it emits a sonic flare through the body.

21. Hurricane- Wind expells from the warrior, slowing down the attacker as he comes towards him.

22. Trapped- Ever heard of the controled scatter shot? Well, Trapped skips the loosing of the orbs and allows them to instantly apear around their foe, encumbering them from escape as they enclose on the target, perhaps unleashing a devasating explosion upon the victim.


23. Shotgun Kamehameha- Similiar to the original Kamehameha Wave, but when the blast is relased, like a shotgun the attack spreads out hitting different spots or multiple foes. The closer the attack the stronger it is.

24Demise-A grey energy matter in the shape of a skull. As it hurls at its target, it emits a scream that is said to be the scream of 100 souls. This rare attack is Retane's strongest move.

25Polar Eclipse- Forming a solar blast into one had and a dark shadow orb in the other, Retane attempts to press the opposites together in front of him. As he does and the force increases, a beam fires at his target, continuing for as long as Retane can hold the polar opposites trogether.

26Negative Eclipse- Similiar to Polar Eclipse, the reaction charges a barrier wich repels ki and objects with ki, slowing them down as they come.. The slower closer they get, the more force they have agasint them. The force applies to Retane's stats usually.

27. Magicians Orb- Retane creates a dark orb around himself or another, that is black on the outside and see through on the inside to create a Ki Barrier. Once encompassed the Orb splits multiple times, one of the orbs containing Retane, the others either blank or hiding an ally. Once incompssed in a Shadow Orb, the person stays in it's orb until it breaks through it or the user releases the move. The more barriers created at the time, the weaker the barriers are.

28. Soul of Retane- The mercenary digs deep down inside himself and creates a giant wolf. The wolf it's elf can only shoot your basic orbs and beams. Retane is weakend greatly from the manuver.

29. Mirrage-a sneak attack made as a hologram of energy to emit a blast or namekian image, also know as an imagery clone. It used as a distraction.

30. When Dark Meets Light- The merc fires a rapid barrage of black and white blasts from his palms, as powerful missle like projections.(a differ of the shineshine missle)

31. Pressurize(Windstorm + Slealth)- Combining Windstorm with Stealth he could make a field of orbs which on contact send you flying in the opposite direction. Ki attacks as well if they hit the orbs.

32. Forced Windstorm Fists(Windstorm + Stealth)- FIghting Gokua made the warrior develop a better physical attack. While enacting the Winstorm on his forearms, it can sneak upon his fists and deal a little extra damage.

33. Panic Bomb(Solar Blast + Phosphoorous Bomb)- A green orb is formed and launched into the air, if you sight it, your sight is blinded and your breath Is burnt away from you for a mater of a moments

34. Spread Demise(Shotgun Kamehameha + Demise)- After forming the initial Demise, the gray mass starts forward, only to burst into many, miniature skulls making the each mass of energy weaker and less effective, but allows the warrior to attack multiple targets.
35. CatoPlasm Cannon- Retane powers up to at leases his first teir and dumps a severe amount of energy, ranging from his base Ki to all of his maxxed energy into a single arm. The arm becomes tremendously heavy and tends to weight the namekian down. When ready, the merc just aims his arm and unleashes a wicked blast at his foe.

36. Veinto Tourtuga- Using the manipulation of the wind yet again, the merceatry combines his energy with it to control the wind and air that surrounds him. The wind begins to rapidly spin about him, using him as an axis, and as it increases, so does the defense. The wind becomes able to repel assualts, physically or energy charged.(Note, this isn't taking account for those that unleash super blasts or are way stronger then him.
37. Arsenal- A green orb appears in the warriors hand. As he tosses it towards the foe, the small but powerful blast can either home in on a foe, shread into many different orbs, or turn into a powerful wave. (Tooken from Broly's movie) -Preapproved by Bardock

38. Claw of the Beast- Retane uses his very life force to emit a feindish wave of energy to assualt his foes. Continuos use of the attack, can hill him.

39. Mystic Flash- The emerald raises his hand forming a multi collored orb, and losses it towards its foe, allowuing it to expand turning saw like. With the blade of energy surrounding the orb, it cuts through energy defences and incoming attacks and allows the main orb to strike its goal without a complication. The attack can take it's toll upon the user pending on how often he uses or how much power is put into the blast.

Solar Blast - requires Light Elemental Ki

Phosphorous Bomb - requires Fire Elemental Ki

Hell's Leash - approved

Windstorm - requires Wind Elemental Ki

Unknown - not approved. If you want an attack to just show up anywhere, you'll have to build it into the actual attack.

Gray Assault - approved.

Judgment - probably not approved. Would require Ki Sense, at least.

Demise - approved, but the requirements depend on the specifics of the scream. If the scream is just for flavor, then it only requires Ki Control (like all moves that use ki), but if the scream actually breaks ear-drums or does damage in any way it would require Wind Elemental Ki.

Polar Eclipse - depends. If you just want the ki to be colored, then it's fine. If you actually want to involve the elements described, then it would require Light Elemental Ki.

Negative Eclipse - approved.

Magicians Orb [sic] - approved. Might require Light Elemental Ki.

Soul of Retane - would require Body Split and Shapechange.

Mirrage [sic] - same as Hologram.

And I kind of guessed the Wind and Light Ki prequsites.

But I have a few questions as, like I said, those use to be all of Retanes moves. And I loved using alot of them.

I tihnk I got lazy on this one when I had rewrote this one before...It was used to, bypass armor and inflict damamge, or a few moments after getting hit with the attack, the molecules in what ever was hit were stunned making the area more susceptible to taking damage.

Well initially it was suppose to be a Light vs a Dark Attack being force together which is why it gave it its power... but I suppose I could make it be like negative vs positive Energy.... unless theres some ability that needs that?

Err... thats a Combo attack from the earlier days. What you read there as Stealth, was renamed later to be called Unknown which is near the top.

If Unknown was only good for rudimentary ki blasts, it'd probably be approved.

Mirrored Strings transfers pain from one to another. That's a telepathic ability. Yeah there's a 'physical' connection but you're not gonna get a freebie for that.

Dunno about Crucifixion. Kaden's call, I guess, not mine. Just by looking at it, it seems fairly overpowered so that might be the reason.

Acid - I actually have no idea about that one. My guess is it's too powerful an ability w/o some kind of tech attached to it. Telepathy seems odd, though.

Sonic Flare - okay well figure out what this is and we can tell you if it's okay. -_-

Demise - flavor screams are approved screams

Polar Eclipse - negative/positive should be fine.

Magician's Orb - light because you're... manipulating light.

Pressurize - still need wind elemental ki, then

Forced Windstorm Fists - same as Pressurize

Panic Bomb - D'uh? Overpowered. It's a broken tech and not approved.

CatoPlasm Cannon - Not sure about this one but I imagine the reason it was denied was the same as Panic Bomb.

Yeah, anything that involves illusions or disorientation or sensory deprivation is most easily explained with Telepathy.

CatoPlasm Cannon is actually ok. I don't remember why I thought it shouldn't be approved earlier, but that was wrong either way. It's just a big attack after you power-up.

Crucifixion would be fine if it was just a bow. What's not ok is describing how an enemy reacts. In this case they stood there and got shot four times.

As for Crucifixtion...

It was an attack I had Retane use two or three times, I think. He formed a bow in his hand and loosed 4 rapid session shots that aimed for the hands and feet tacking the foe to a Cross(you can say it's made of energy). If successful, he's fire a fifth and final shot(the more powerful of them all) at the head. I had created this one after I had created Hells Leash and Fiend Shackles as I sort of used Fiend Shackles and Retane's affiliation as the God of Death for the prequisite(I swear I hope this is the correct word) of the attack. I never said it had a 100% success rate.

I don't see how it's two powerful. And I'm not sure how it can't be approved in this era when it was approved before when there were more limitations and such.

As for Magicians Orbs, I derived it from Dark Magicians Hat Trick from Yu Gi Oh. Initially using Darkness Falls and Unknown ass the initial backdrop. I wanted to have some kind of defensive move that I could perhaps hide another in, as well as myself and it not be seen exactly which one who was in, along with a few extra orbs, to perhaps buy a few moments of time in certain situations, or whatever. I don't see why I can't use Stealth as the needed ability instead of light. I mean Energy attacks and such aren't always see through, so why can't it be like a double-mirror defense orb? Stealth an bend the light around it after all.

Also... while I'm on Stealth... I'm not just limited to sight am I? I mean I'm able make moves to be unheard and such as well right?

The game is completely different now. The fact that something was ok before doesn't mean anything in the new set-up. That's just the nature of the beast.

Bending light would require Light Elemental Ki. You could use the Stealth Ability for that Custom to make Mal not visible, but you wouldn't be able to make someone else invisible if you used it for them.

Yeah, you could use the Stealth Ability to make attacks silent. I think that's a pretty cool application of the Ability, actually.

Stealth - Using one's own methods, one can effectively render themselves invisible to the naked eye, either through blending in with their surroundings or by bending light around themselves. They will only be able to maintain their invisibility so long as they do not attack. Once an attack is made, the invisibility is broken.


If I cant extend my Ki as an extension... of Stealth....

Then why the hell can Orion use Immaterial to charge another object?

It's blantantly biased and hyppocritical(I misspelled them both I know).

I mean I can call Kadens Neki attacks.. Utterly powerful when used correctly... But then again I think he has the know not to god mod shit... I thought I use to be trusted with the same thing...

I enjoy having a huge arsenal of moves so I'm not too repetitive... and can have fun with it all..

While the game is completely different... as you say... and so on./... I still dont see how I cant use Stealth in the Magician Orbs...

I can remake it and rename it if I needed... but.... Why will a Magic Trick/defence... Cost so much? I COuld use Telepathy to cause almost the same effect... Technically...

Frost Aura: While not jagged and sharp, and essentially just gas Cain's Ice Ki created frost aura is so cold that his skin is painful to the touch. Deterrent of physical combat. Has no effect on ki.

Touch of steel- As long as there is a metal object near by Sal can use his Metal binding technique. This technique is used to turn his fists to solid steel for phyisical combat. To use this technique he must touch a metal object he then absorbs its properties and coats his hands with it. The only draw back is it makes his hands a good bit heavier. So while his punching strength goes up the speed at which he can throw punches decreases.
